As somebody that worked throughout college doing less than glamorous jobs (re: dirty and likely unhealthy) jobs, chose state school over expensive private sleep away camp and didn't have a a four year drunken party, I resent that the crybaby, woke, delusional crowd is getting a handout funded by funny money inflationary money printing. And I hate corporate subsidies and sports team handouts just the same.

I worked hard and sacrificed a lot and it's frustrating to see those that never worked until after college, who can't stop taking selfies or pining on social media about Ukraine, Black Trans Lives, or Orange Hitler get such an underserved handout while telling me how horrible I am or how should lose my job because I didn't take an a dangerous gene therapy injection.

Now that it has started, just in time for fall vote buying, where does it stop? Ever known a government program to regress backwards and disappear? And for sure it is not fair to all those who have and are paying back their loans. What a teachable moment...take a risk and no matter what the government will be there to bail you out if the risk gets too expensive or costly. What is a young person thinking about college to think? Most people are much better off not going to college or maybe just going for 2 years. 90% of college is nothing more than an indoctrination into wokeness, leftism and all the other liberal rubbish that makes for a great country.

There is one genuine populist president in our world today, El Presidente de Mexico, AMLO. I would not be surprised to learn that he is the actual reincarnation of Huey Long. He was under enormous pressure to take Covid money from the world bank, and to shut down tourism in Mexico. He held firm, and the seething globalists declared Mexico would self destruct. Guess what? Right now tourism in Mexico is booming at level higher than pre-covid...and remittances are at record levels. AMLO also refuses to join the Climate Change psy-op, forging ahead with expanding and straightening Pem Mex.

Colonialism gets the bad rap from problems in Mexico, but the looting if resources came during the reign of Plutarco Calles. His blood was half of a certain ethnic group, which convertly, along with Freemasons, seized control of everything. With all the natural resources in Mexico, there is no real reason why any Mexican should be poor. AMLO is working to change that...and the globalists hate him for this.

The irony is that all those mobs of "refugees" flooding over the border, could seek asylum in Mexico, where they actually have a chance of freedom and a better life. Yet they believe coming here and fighting American poor for a spot in the destitute United States, is the best choice. These idiots still believe there is an American dream.

The government should not be in the student loan business, but it suits their purposes, because:

1. Banks are guaranteed repayment by the taxpayer. A normal bank loan would have risk exposure.

2. If the government makes the loan, it's backed by taxpayers, so when a student defaults, half of America can cry for his head. If a bank makes a bad loan nobody cares, which does not further our overlords' divide and conquer strategy.

3. You can get out of a bank loan by declaring bankruptcy. You can NEVER get relief from a student loan and it will haunt you to the grave. All the while half of America is calling you a deadbeat.

This is a bullshit system. How many loans could be forgiven with some of that blessed Ukraine war money?

A jubilee would fix this problem immediately and that's why it will never happen. Our masters love mouthing Bible platitudes but the usury part always gets left out for some reason---surely the most inconvenient truth. You see, if you don't repay the loan, in full, with interest, you are a dishonest sinner harboring malice in your black heart. If you make a usurious loan on guaranteed terms only favorable to yourself, why, you're just being an honest businessman!

The simple fact of the matter is that the entire student loan industry and college in general is one gigantic scam. Entire generations of Americans, the vast majority of whom had no business stepping foot on a college campus, were literally programmed by society - by teachers, councilors, principals, coaches, parents, etc. - to believe "they had to go to college to make it."

Student loans made it very easy to enroll and finance an "education," including at for-profit colleges that are an even bigger scam than traditional colleges and universities. The entire system has to be reformed, and it should start with total student loan debt forgiveness. There is a lot to say about this topic, obviously, but in a nutshell that's it: all student loan debt (public and private) should be forgiven and written off. Screw the colleges and loan servicers.

I hear conservatives criticize student loan forgiveness, yet these are the same people who demand we spend billions of dollars on our bloated and ridiculous military, give away billions of dollars to Israel, Ukraine, and other foreign governments, and transfer billions (probably trillions!) of dollars to private banks and other large corporations. Give me a break!

Cancel student debt immediately. This was a major theme of Biden's campaign, and all we get is a measly $10k cancellation in the lead up to an election. The elites running our country - both Democrat and Republican - hate the working class American people and treat us like we are complete idiots and slaves.

Great points and writing, Don. Capitalism is inherently evil as more and more wealth accumulates in fewer and fewer hands creating greater and greater masses of destitute people. If you're not already aware of it, check out, First National Bank of Montgomery vs Jerome Daly, 9 Dec. 1968 a.k.a. The Credit River Case. Daly pointed out that the bank created money out of nothing and used that as a basis for repossessing his house which was tangible property, ergo the bank was practicing fraud. Astonishingly he won but predictably his victory was overturned on appeal which I would bet my right arm involved bribes, threats, and major arm twisting. Allegedly the judge who ruled in Daly's favor by denying the bank's foreclosure and ruling Daly could keep his house was murdered by poison and Daly, a practicing attorney was disbarred. The money/credit/usury scam is the heart of the Beast's power. Mess with that and they will unleash the forces of Hell against you.

It was the 49 year debt jubilee,... and it worked well because everyone knew when it was. Thus if you were borrowing in year 45, the lender would grant a 4yr loan and be very sure the debtor could repay and/or the interest rate would be quite high. It kept the brakes on both borrower and lender. Then it was a big year long party as everyone went free and had a reset.

When the ink dries on the Biden forgiveness legislation of "up to" $10K, most likely it will be almost impossible for most debtors to receive any relief. Especially if the Public Loan Forgiveness Program is any example, where more than 95% of all applicants were rejected for one reason or another (on a 72 item questionnaire and after 5 or more years of dedicated repayment). Look at The Powell Memo from the 1970s and you will see the subsequent decades of student loan debt as THE reason why the US does not want an educated populace. Over the next 3 decades student loan debt, which is the most predatory debt with unconscionable repayment terms, fees, and "recapitalization" of interest; it is enough to make the mafia blush. Why didn't they think of that?

By the hands of at least 3 US Presidents in both parties, student loan debt has been scraped of most consumer protections including Truth in Lending, Fair Debt Protection Act, and bankruptcy.

I've written extensively on this debt which most conservatives scoff and stamp their feet over any kind of forgiveness.

Anyone who scoffs at this small - and mostly inconsequential - relief (which as stated above will be almost impossible to attain) is ignorant of The Massive Student Loan Industry where the US (prior to the Plandemic) was raking in Billions in profit each year. A defaulted student loan meant bokoo bucks for Uncle Sam.

I had $33K in student loan debt from going to college at night for 15 years. That was 30 years ago. I never missed a payment yet have boxes of letters, complaints, certified letters, phone call memos, etc. to each loan servicer complaining about their shenanigans on posting payments to my loans for which they would hold payments to increase daily interest, add fees, send out threatening letters to me and my family (you have to reference family members on the application loan for consolidation) that I was delinquent when I was NOT. They are all paid off now, at a cost of over $65K.

My 4 immediate family members have over $565K in student loan debt. Some paid of their own college loans back in the 1980s but then had to take out the predatory Parent Plus loans to help their kids, which now total in the 6 figures. Each family member is and has always worked full time.

What a fucking racket.

Also notice, that since the plandemic, payments for some - but not all - federal loans have been halted. And America survived! Holy cow!

Thanks for an insightful article. I have been talking about the tens of billions in foundations at Harvard, Princeton, Yale, etc for over a decade. Funds which just keep growing.

My choice was feed my family or pay taxes I couldn't afford, and I later learned, that I did not owe. In fact, 95 percent of us do not owe.

The Federal income tax is another fraud on the general public, just like the Federal Reserve counterfeiting operation.

Most people are afraid of being charged with willful failure to file. I beat them before they could ever charge me with a simple affidavit. That was before I knew anything. I never had a lawyer involved on my part. Most people get a lawyer and they are doomed from the start because they don't want to accept the responsibility of learning. Yes, there is a lot of studying involved, but I have simplified the learning process by writing a document that simplifies the tax code down to about 20 pages of reading. I email it to those interested, free of charge, because I believe in freedom.

I'm sure there are plenty of working and retired US citizens who would like to have income, property and sales taxes eliminated in our lives. Being able to keep at least $5K of "EARNED INCOME" would do wonders for some of the working class.

Divided on this because firstly, the students are definitely "trapped" and probably will never recover from it. Add to this the whole idea that college was a necessity or even needed. Pure propaganda to be sure. The university system did a one two punch on these young people (and their parents) by convincing them to go, indoctrinating them once there, then strapping them with burdensome debt all for degrees that are mostly useless.

However, I also think it's ludicrous to give people something they didn't really earn either. I paid my debts and try to encourage people to never get into debt into the first place, and I make $17/hr. And of course, where does it stop?

All of this is besides the point however. The real problem is power. The rich or elite or oligarchs aren't just rich, they're powerful. The power gives them the money, which enables them to have more power which is what they're really after. At a certain point, you can't spend anymore, but they keep accumulating more money... all in the service of gaining more power.

Jesus said the poor would always be with us. This is because we have no power. Powerless.

Powerless to stop the madness, powerless to get justice, powerless to live freely, and on and on.

The elite we have now are nothing less than demons masquerading as people. But heaven has a way of balancing the scales. From time immemorial evil gets a taste of its own medicine and is destroyed from which the power balance swings to more righteous elite who govern more fairly until the corruption sets in and the process repeats.

At this point, I think Biden should just forgive ALL debt to Blacks, LGBT's, and take it from the lower middle class whites. Rich whites should be exempt, to help distribute it, of course, If they can't pay, then repossess their homes, cars, 401ks and give it all to them. Maybe then we'd finally "wake" up and take some of the power back.

I stopped being a "taxpayer". I still pay taxes, more than I like, but I'm not a "taxpayer" as defined under Title 26 US Code Internal Revenue. I have no taxable income and never have had in all my life, although there was a time when I thought I did. Taxable income is defined as profit or gain. Wages are defined as being benefits that are from a federal source such as a federal employer, and many of those are excluded. I have never been "gainfully employed" as a federal public servant.

Boy, am I ever glad that I learned how to read and understand the federal tax laws.
