Yet as a young "pretty" woman I was treated as such because of looks but not necessarily because of brains but I never let it stop me. Susie, a friend of mine was chatting with me the other day and asking herself a similar question, "why exactly did I trade the home and time with kids for sitting at a desk all those years for crappy pay?" Back in the day, I wasn't aware of all the propaganda, but equal rights for women in the workplace sounded OK to me. The thing that did strike me as odd though, was how feminists would denigrate those women that actually did want to be a traditional housewife. If I remember right, the term "homemaker" was mocked.
TAX - Yes, in the 1980s, I remember my peers talking bad about housewives and how women should go out and get a job and a babysitter for the kids. The peer pressure was immense............Young women don't always have the strength to say I'm going to do what's right for me and my family, no matter what............For that strength, they need to have two parents who support and love them - and a close relationship with God for guidance.
My wife had that strength. I worked two jobs, drove crappy cheap vehicles for 18 years to keep her home with the kids. We lived in a small home and never went to Disney World but we managed to get our children raised. My wife now works part time as the children are no longer require the attention as they are grown. I will state, from a male perspective, that my wife worked harder than I ever have, was more dedicated to her job as mother than I ever was, and made our home a wonderful place for me and for my children. I honor her for that sacrifice and she honors me for mine. Been married for 26 years and are still in love with each other.

Some of the young women I see out and about today are pretty hideous. Tattoos everywhere, extra holes in their noses to hold numerous nose-rings, green hair, obviously fake eyelashes, obese, etc..................... They're even wearing their floppy bedroom slippers and pajamas out in public! I saw a youngish woman in Walmart the other day wearing a bright pink hooded bathrobe over her clothes.
They wear pajamas in public, Susie! And those nose rings and tongue studs can't possibly be comfortable. It's like they are intentionally doing everything they can to be physically unattractive, which contradicts the way every previous generation of females behaved. On a recent flight I somehow ended up with the window seat instead of the aisle--which I ALWAYS select, so I don't know how the airlines screwed that up. Unfortunately, I always have to use the lav at least once, usually more on a flight. My husband was next to me in middle seat and a 60ish age man was in the aisle seat. Any gentleman would have gotten out of his seat to let me pass when I needed to get out. Instead, he sat there and let me climb over him with my butt in his face as I did so. I was disgusted by his lack of common decency and chivalry. It was an uncomfortable situation for me. Because HE didn't get up, my husband couldn't either and I had to climb over both of them. Guys, as a woman pushing 70, I love and appreciate all those time-honored niceties that men do for women.
As I noted, men today aren't much better, especially in terms of basic manners. We always stressed those kinds of things with our kids; always say thank you and excuse me, etc. I guess not all parents did that. Thanks for sharing, Lisa.

I found some validation for this observation when, in an effort to escape covid insanity, I spent Oct. 2020 to Dec. 2021 in Serbia and Albania. Governments there were as bad as here, in some cases worse. Serbia had a 6 p.m. curfew for a couple of weeks and closed the inside of restaurants for most of the winter. You had to eat outside! But the people were completely different from Americans. No stink eyes or upbraidings if proper mask protocol wasn't followed. Without a mask you could get on a bus filled with little old mask-wearing ladies and no one would say anything. No pressure to get the jab. There was no apparent social division at all -- everyone just endured the governmental oppression stoically. The Karens, of course had a field day in the U.S. during covid time. I'm guessing there would be a pretty high correlation between the mask and vax scolds and the people who toss the antisemitism slur around frequently.

Regarding morality, the golden rule is second to none. It is actually the only guide you need. don't need books, gods, laws, anything else.

Susie, a friend of mine was chatting with me the other day and asking herself a similar question, "why exactly did I trade the home and time with kids for sitting at a desk all those years for crappy pay?" Back in the day, I wasn't aware of all the propaganda, but equal rights for women in the workplace sounded OK to me. The thing that did strike me as odd though, was how feminists would denigrate those women that actually did want to be a traditional housewife. If I remember right, the term "homemaker" was mocked.
TAX - Yes, in the 1980s, I remember my peers talking bad about housewives and how women should go out and get a job and a babysitter for the kids. The peer pressure was immense............Young women don't always have the strength to say I'm going to do what's right for me and my family, no matter what............For that strength, they need to have two parents who support and love them - and a close relationship with God for guidance.
My wife had that strength. I worked two jobs, drove crappy cheap vehicles for 18 years to keep her home with the kids. We lived in a small home and never went to Disney World but we managed to get our children raised. My wife now works part time as the children are no longer require the attention as they are grown. I will state, from a male perspective, that my wife worked harder than I ever have, was more dedicated to her job as mother than I ever was, and made our home a wonderful place for me and for my children. I honor her for that sacrifice and she honors me for mine. Been married for 26 years and are still in love with each other.

No, it wasn't girls' fault. In my opinion there is a war against the family, waged by the ancient evil that tempted Cain to kill Abel. The enemy is clever. Take heart though. There are many women who have chosen to reject the modern feminist propaganda and are choosing to stay home and be Mothers. Women who love their children and understand the purpose of their own creation. They are out there and their numbers are growing.
The problem with the feminist lies is women can't have it both ways. Biology has created women to be one thing. Mothers. Their bodies are designed to be incubators and to provide nutrients for their young. They can deny this biology and become paper pushers in their careers but, eventually, all women will feel the genetically ingrained call of their biology. To be mothers. The clock ticks for them. The know their ovaries have a limited number of eggs before they dry up. For some, it's too late. For others, it requires a change of thinking. Often it results in a life time of anger, regret, and loneliness. This breaks my heart. Women deserve better.

Some of the young women I see out and about today are pretty hideous. Tattoos everywhere, extra holes in their noses to hold numerous nose-rings, green hair, obviously fake eyelashes, obese, etc..................... They're even wearing their floppy bedroom slippers and pajamas out in public! I saw a youngish woman in Walmart the other day wearing a bright pink hooded bathrobe over her clothes.
They wear pajamas in public, Susie! And those nose rings and tongue studs can't possibly be comfortable. It's like they are intentionally doing everything they can to be physically unattractive, which contradicts the way every previous generation of females behaved. And yes, this is especially noticeable in Walmart. Thanks!
If some women aren't making themselves attractive nowadays, they just make it easier for the rest of us women to look good in comparison......... We just have to pay attention to our clothes, hair, makeup, and health. It's pretty simple. No nose-rings or face tattoos necessary.

My 13 yr old grandson treats me that way but most young boys aren’t even taught to show respect to anyone today. The sad thing is “godless feminists” have ruined it for all women. On a recent flight I somehow ended up with the window seat instead of the aisle--which I ALWAYS select, so I don't know how the airlines screwed that up. Unfortunately, I always have to use the lav at least once, usually more on a flight. My husband was next to me in middle seat and a 60ish age man was in the aisle seat. Any gentleman would have gotten out of his seat to let me pass when I needed to get out. Instead, he sat there and let me climb over him with my butt in his face as I did so. I was disgusted by his lack of common decency and chivalry. It was an uncomfortable situation for me. Because HE didn't get up, my husband couldn't either and I had to climb over both of them. Guys, as a woman pushing 70, I love and appreciate all those time-honored niceties that men do for women.
As I noted, men today aren't much better, especially in terms of basic manners. We always stressed those kinds of things with our kids; always say thank you and excuse me, etc. I guess not all parents did that. Thanks for sharing, Lisa.

I found some validation for this observation when, in an effort to escape covid insanity, I spent Oct. 2020 to Dec. 2021 in Serbia and Albania. Governments there were as bad as here, in some cases worse. Serbia had a 6 p.m. curfew for a couple of weeks and closed the inside of restaurants for most of the winter. You had to eat outside! But the people were completely different from Americans. No stink eyes or upbraidings if proper mask protocol wasn't followed. Without a mask you could get on a bus filled with little old mask-wearing ladies and no one would say anything. No pressure to get the jab. There was no apparent social division at all -- everyone just endured the governmental oppression stoically. The Karens, of course had a field day in the U.S. during covid time. I'm guessing there would be a pretty high correlation between the mask and vax scolds and the people who toss the antisemitism slur around frequently.
