1. God created us and then left us to our own devices. Meaning, he, she, or they created us and just decided to go play tiddlywinks or golf with their buddies. Thus, we are on our own. The innocent are left to suffer and the wicked are left to enjoy the wealth they have amassed. There is no justice for the innocent and the wicked thrive because God is no where around to do anything about it.
2. God cannot intervene because if God intervenes then he/she is violating one of the core laws that he/she grants to his/her creations. Free will. Free Agency, whatever you want to call it. If God violates his own law then God becomes a liar and if God is a liar God is not worthy of the honor of his subjects and loses his authority. This then means that God is not all powerful and must be subject to his/her own law.
I'm not an atheist. I do believe in creation and in deity. However, I don't think God is as absolute as one would read in the Bible or other scriptural texts. The two explanations for why innocent people suffer are easy to understand when considering these two concepts of God.
For example, why is it that a loving man and woman who wish to have a child to raise in a good home cannot conceive a child while the drug user down the street pushes them out like a horny rabbit and the child is neglected and abused? Would it not be in the child's best interest to have God place that child in the home with the loving parents rather than in a home where the child is abused and neglected, grows up in that abuse and becomes an abuser itself? Now apply this to the two concepts I mentioned above. See what I mean?

All excellent points. Maybe I should re-phrase. Instead of staying "God cannot intervene" perhaps it would be more accurate to say "God won't intervene" or "chooses not to intervene." If the Old Testament is in fact accurate then one must deduce that there are certain situations where God has chosen to intervene when it suits him. Perhaps God intervenes when wickedness and oppression become so great that such oppression and wickedness stifles and snuffs out free-agency of the individual.

There is something about someone close to you committing suicide when you damn well know they didn't. You never get over it. One of my closest friends was a tax accountant who also handled immigration cases. One Saturday afternoon, he went out to post fliers promoting his business. He never came home. His wife called the police to report a missing person. They said you gotta give him 24 hours. She went to his office at 11:30 pm. He wasn't there.
At 8am the next morning she went back. He was lying there with a bullet hole in his head with a gun in his left hand. She said he never owned a gun and I know he was right-handed. After a short investigation, the law declared suicide and that was the end of it. Forever. This was 30 years ago. His two daughters don't believe it. His wife doesn't believe it. I don't believe it either. We are never the same.

Having had my pop in the ER twice in the past 6 months, I can tell you those are self-sticking monitor probes. They have self-sticking tape on the body side. They use up to ten or so. When you get discharged, they get pulled off. (or if you die) She doesn't look like she was about to be released. Major trauma to the head and face that is obvious. Also, the upper part of her left arm, looks to be even with her side. If she took a selfie, she must have had an extra long left forearm! It was a very poorly staged photo. I would suspect some nimrod from the PD or the Military who was not adept at spy craft and themselves will be found dead soon as well, with no apparent connection to the victim.
The most fascinating part of it all is the mere fact that we are even having this conversation. The society is manifestly broken and regular people are just fodder. I mean, every aspect of our existence of this land is exploited in one way or another. Does it really matter how she died? I mean she was relatively young and it appears her soul has had enough. She was murdered most likely, by one of the powerful men she had accused or who’s name she knew but couldn’t reveal. The so-called “bus crash” was nothing of the sort. It’s was an attempt on her life.
The second attempt sadly was successful. I can’t say for sure what happened, but I believe she was killed by a hitman hired by Alan Dershowitz. As crazy as it sounds, I believe it to be true. Why did she all of a sudden get divorced from a husband she loved, had been with for 22 years and with whom she shared three children? It could only have been because of the threats and attempts on her life by Dershowitz and those he paid to do his dirty work. I’m sure the other powerful men who were involved whoever they may be, weren’t too upset about all these developments either.
Like the DC Madam, Epstein’s associates and many others, she was murdered so no one would ever know the names of the powerful people with whom they associated. Ghislaine Maxwell has stayed silent because she knows if she doesn’t she’s next. She also remembers well what happened to her father Robert Maxwell when he became a liability. I believe rogue elements of the Mossad killed Maxwell because he had gotten nervous as his financial crimes were revealed. So he decided if he was gonna go down so we’re they. His connections therefore had him assassinated and did an extensive cover-up.
Returning to Virginia, I hope someday in the future, we will know what really happened to her. She was a brave woman who risked her life to bring out the truth. Two ways to look at this SPQR7OAD.
1. God created us and then left us to our own devices. Meaning, he, she, or they created us and just decided to go play tiddlywinks or golf with their buddies. Thus, we are on our own. The innocent are left to suffer and the wicked are left to enjoy the wealth they have amassed. There is no justice for the innocent and the wicked thrive because God is no where around to do anything about it.
2. God cannot intervene because if God intervenes then he/she is violating one of the core laws that he/she grants to his/her creations. Free will. Free Agency, whatever you want to call it. If God violates his own law then God becomes a liar and if God is a liar God is not worthy of the honor of his subjects and loses his authority. This then means that God is not all powerful and must be subject to his/her own law.
I'm not an atheist. I do believe in creation and in deity. However, I don't think God is as absolute as one would read in the Bible or other scriptural texts. The two explanations for why innocent people suffer are easy to understand when considering these two concepts of God.
For example, why is it that a loving man and woman who wish to have a child to raise in a good home cannot conceive a child while the drug user down the street pushes them out like a horny rabbit and the child is neglected and abused? Would it not be in the child's best interest to have God place that child in the home with the loving parents rather than in a home where the child is abused and neglected, grows up in that abuse and becomes an abuser itself? Now apply this to the two concepts I mentioned above. See what I mean?

All excellent points. Maybe I should re-phrase. Instead of staying "God cannot intervene" perhaps it would be more accurate to say "God won't intervene" or "chooses not to intervene." If the Old Testament is in fact accurate then one must deduce that there are certain situations where God has chosen to intervene when it suits him. Perhaps God intervenes when wickedness and oppression become so great that such oppression and wickedness stifles and snuffs out free-agency of the individual.
I didn't say I know all the answers SPQR7OAD. I just shared a couple of conclusions that I have come to over my many years and do make sense to me personally. You are free to embrace or reject such principles.

To clarify my comment about churches, there are many many good churches all over the world, but often people have a bad church experience so they walk away from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit because of imperfect churches with imperfect people. Never walk away from GOD because of imperfect churches and imperfect people. GOD alone is worthy of glory, honor, worship and praise.

At 8am the next morning she went back. He was lying there with a bullet hole in his head with a gun in his left hand. She said he never owned a gun and I know he was right-handed. After a short investigation, the law declared suicide and that was the end of it. Forever. This was 30 years ago. His two daughters don't believe it. His wife doesn't believe it. I don't believe it either. We are never the same.

Well done Don! You used to work in a hospital. I'm sure you've seen a corpse. I have. That photo of her, looks like she's already dead. Those are the eyes of a dead person. Open, darkened, looking to her right when the phone camera was obviously up above her left side, and what about the probe connectors on her chest? They don't leave those on (well these days you never know) if they're taking you off the monitoring equipment. If that X message was real, that she had renal failure, she would have still been on a monitor.
I see you have a lot of posts on this one and no doubt it will get higher. Just thought I would share a few things I noticed, as a "who done it" fan and writer.

Good observations, Vince. The picture is very strange. If the bus accident was no big deal, why does she look like that, with the thing on her chest- not sure what that is- don't see anything leading out to a monitor. I'm sure there will be an honest inquiry lol. Thanks.
Having had my pop in the ER twice in the past 6 months, I can tell you those are self-sticking monitor probes. They have self-sticking tape on the body side. They use up to ten or so. When you get discharged, they get pulled off. (or if you die) She doesn't look like she was about to be released. Major trauma to the head and face that is obvious. Also, the upper part of her left arm, looks to be even with her side. If she took a selfie, she must have had an extra long left forearm! It was a very poorly staged photo. I would suspect some nimrod from the PD or the Military who was not adept at spy craft and themselves will be found dead soon as well, with no apparent connection to the victim.

The most fascinating part of it all is the mere fact that we are even having this conversation. The society is manifestly broken and regular people are just fodder. I mean, every aspect of our existence of this land is exploited in one way or another. Does it really matter how she died? I mean she was relatively young and it appears her soul has had enough. Foul play? Probably, but it doesn't matter because she was broken by the evil wrongdoers, that we do know, she knew too much, about too many people, and that is a recipe for a "tragedy." Natural or otherwise.

RIP Virginia Giuffre 🇺🇸🫡❤️🌸🌺💐🕯️🕊️May her memory be a blessing! We may never know the whole truth about what happened to Virginia Giuffre. But this much we do know, she didn’t commit suicide. She was murdered most likely, by one of the powerful men she had accused or who’s name she knew but couldn’t reveal. The so-called “bus crash” was nothing of the sort. It’s was an attempt on her life.
The second attempt sadly was successful. I can’t say for sure what happened, but I believe she was killed by a hitman hired by Alan Dershowitz. As crazy as it sounds, I believe it to be true. She had accused him publicly for years of being one of those who had abused her. Then all of a sudden one day she retracts? It is clear there was a campaign behind the scenes to get her to shut up. But Mr. Dershowitz wasn’t content with that, he wanted her gone altogether.
Why did she all of a sudden get divorced from a husband she loved, had been with for 22 years and with whom she shared three children? It could only have been because of the threats and attempts on her life by Dershowitz and those he paid to do his dirty work. I’m sure the other powerful men who were involved whoever they may be, weren’t too upset about all these developments either.
Like the DC Madam, Epstein’s associates and many others, she was murdered so no one would ever know the names of the powerful people with whom they associated. Ghislaine Maxwell has stayed silent because she knows if she doesn’t she’s next. She also remembers well what happened to her father Robert Maxwell when he became a liability. I believe rogue elements of the Mossad killed Maxwell because he had gotten nervous as his financial crimes were revealed. So he decided if he was gonna go down so we’re they. His connections therefore had him assassinated and did an extensive cover-up.
Returning to Virginia, I hope someday in the future, we will know what really happened to her. She was a brave woman who risked her life to bring out the truth. Donald Trump and Kash Patel are the only ones in the American government who have made any attempt at all to figure out what really happened in the Epstein case. This is why she endorsed Trump for President. I hope and pray that the Trump administration will somehow, someway release that client list.
