My mother was committed to a mental institution before my 2nd birthday. She wasn't crazy. She was the sanest one in the room, but after giving birth to her 3rd child in 3 years (the 3rd one a difficult birth where she sustained broken ribs), she had what you deny is post-partum depression and tried to harm herself. In the institution they did horrible things to her and she was a shell of a person for my entire childhood, on drugs for her "health", and unhappy for the rest of her marriage which lasted for over 20 years. She simply snapped. Out of complete desperation because no one would listen to her concerns. Not the church. Not the men. Not my dad. Not the male white doctors. When she got out of the institution, my dad (who traveled all the time), hired a housekeeper to keep an eye on her so she would not hurt herself of her kids. She was a good, kind woman, in a very difficult spot. It was the 1950s. Women didn't have choices. They had jobs to do, and that was reproduce. Last year, my neighbor shot herself. Out of the blue. She had always been quiet, was recently becoming more sociable, and then bam! She shot herself. I have learned the very hard way that life is a huge mystery with very few answers. And it seems that women have carried the burden of this System much more than the men running it. And all this is outside whatever evil program the Oligarchs have created for their amusement and entertainment.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother, Lynn. I know this kind of thing happened back then, but it was rare. My aunt, who had 11 kids, had to be institutionalized briefly somewhere between the births. I know women had a raw deal in those days. I heard about it a lot from my mother, who was still essentially a traditional wife, and never complained about her own lot in life, or the shabby treatment she received from my father. We went from one extreme to the other. Thanks.
I wonder if poor nutrition played a role. Carrying a child and nursing really takes a lot out of a woman. My mom said she never had cavities except after giving birth to my brother and me. Lack of B vitamins can cause depression.
When I did my psych rotation in med school I actually lived on the grounds of Whitfield , our state psych institution . The psychiatrist I was with told me that when parlodel was used to dry up breast milk ( which increased Dopamine rapidly - which is in overabundance in schizophrenics ) , that they got totally psychotic housewives until its routine usage was stopped . About once every 5 years , I’ll see a totally psychotic postpartum patient and they are terrifying . Some , I had known before the delivery and some not , so that I could see the difference . All resolved . The newest postpartum depression drug is over 72 k and requires a 60 hour infusion …. What is it ? Pregnenalone … a “ neurosteroid “ …. Upstream from progesterone which shifts rapidly after delivery . I’ve been using progesterone in oil for over 25 years for $11 a shot . It goes to show you that the psyche is very , very fragile .
Post partum depression is well known in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and there are herbal formulas to address the deficiency caused by giving birth. So yes they've known about it for centuries.
or those 'happy pills' that most women were on in the 50's, before the Rolling Stones were singing 'mother's little helper' whilst promoting divers other drugs to the new gen.
Nice try, DJ. You got most of your foot out of your mouth, but how do you know it was ''rare'' in those days. Your whole article is premised on the assumption that we don't know what evil lurks in the minds, and behind closed doors, of men. Kind of a conundrum, methinks. That being said, the article was interesting and well-written, as usual.
I appreciate the compliment, Serafino. It wouldn't be the first time my foot was in my mouth, but I remain dubious that this is a clinical mental disorder. If anything, it would have been more understandable in those olden days, when women were expected to produce families, and the larger the better. I think that's almost certainly what happened to my aunt- tremendous pressure resulting in what they used to call a "nervous breakdown." In today's world, I think it fits in a bit too neatly with the virtue signaling, victimization culture. Thanks.
I agree with you on that 100%. Different world today. After my niece had her first child, she asked my Mom (her Grandmother) ''how could you have done this 5 times!!??'' My niece is now pregnant again (both times IVF) so she really wants that 2nd child. That being said, I'm so, so glad to have been born male!
I have to think that IVF is probably the most Unnatural thing a woman can do. If the egg and the sperm aren't compatible, for lack of a better word, why do we force the issue? It's based on a want not a need. I've never been a fan of Tom Cruise, but he was right about Brooke Shields. She wanted a baby, couldn't get pregnant, had IVF, and suffered PP depression so bad she wanted to drive her car with baby onboard into a wall. She needed meds to stop it... makes you think that something in her chemistry didn't want her getting pregnant and baring children ....
Whatever you say, Wade, but when I see my niece and her husband with their son, all that doesn't matter....natural or not, want or need. It's unfortunate that so many people today have problems making babies. They had to do what they had to do. Considering her upbringing and circumstances, I'd say Brooke Shields is a poor example to cite. Just sayin.'
Andrea Yates had been hospitalized twice and diagnosed with psychosis prior to the killings. Her husband knew this and insisted she home school the children anyhow. In no way am I justifying the terrible murders she committed, but what seems obvious is the people who needed to intervene ignored her decent into further madness.
The world is full of these imponderables... Consider Marc LePine up here in Woke Canuckistan, the accused shooter at Ecole Polytechnique back on December 6, 1989. Supposedly turned down for Officer Training by the Canadian Military, but no other clue other than the usual "he was a quiet kinda guy... kept to himself..." Purportedly murdered 14 young women, injured 14 more before he turned his gun on himself...
I say "accused" and "purportedly" because just like Columbine and Sandy Hook et al, this story simply stinks to high Heaven of "CIA"... Be that as it may, if Marc was so disturbed he could do such a thing... How could no-one notice there was something seriously "off" about him, and intervene?
Christians believe that God has planned EVERYTHING, and that includes planning for some people to be evil and go to hell. There's nothing you can do about it since that would go against God's plan.
If God deliberately creates folks he knows are evil and damned to hell, that means he's a total piece of shit. And it makes you a total piece of shit if you believe in such a God!
By your logic, God created Andrea Yates and planned for her to kill her kids. There was nothing anybody could do about it since God is more powerful than any mortal.
'Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.' Job 33:12
Christians believe God has a plan. Within that plan man has free will to choose good or evil and those choices determine his salvation. God doesn’t control everything. That is where the notion of “ God Given Freedom” comes from. Your definition of what Christians believe is Fake News. Perhaps you were referring to Calvinists.
I remember when Mike Huckabee used his clout to save his son from jail, after the kid tortured some dogs to death.
Torturing and killing animals like that is a sign of future serial killers and/or dark occult ritual.
There's been a real cleanup effort to remove the facts of the case and earlier coverage, so you know the Huckabee bloodline gets top-tier Narrative management from the occupying regime, whoever, whatever it is.
Perhaps you could try actually reading at least the first four gospels of a Bible (non Scofield. Though reading this 1909 bastardization of the Christian Bible provides the modern heresies of Christian Zionism its justifications ). Satan is destroyed in the End. We’re all still here so that hasn’t happened yet.
So, because I do not believe in all "Gods" I am angry
Damn Christians are arrogant. I am anti all theism.
This is why as a lifelong atheist, I don't get insulted or offended anymore, when folks like you try to tell me how I feel.
It's telling as well, that in all the face-to-face discussions I've had with Christians who claim I'm deceiving myself, it is very clear that they "needed" that to be true, to make sense of their own nonsensical beliefs.
I become an obstacle to their blind faith, as if it were my fault and not their God's.
Dude - you are clueless. Not only about Christianity, but I imagine many other things.
IF you actually care about truth, I suggest you actually do a little reading and maybe try to get an inkling about actual Christianity; maybe start at Christians for Truth and go from there. No actual Christian will say everything happens because God wills it - we have free will and we have an adversary. And that adversary has children in the world...
Thanks for the insults. You have just broken very rule in Dale Carnegie's book "How to win Friends and Influence People". Guaranteeing that you will never be able to convince me of your point of view. You know nothing about me, or how to debate people.
I'm 78-years-old. Raised in a Cristian family.
Read the Bible every day and prayed to "God" every morning and night.
With as much humility as I could muster.
Went to Church every Sunday. Taught kids Sunday School.
Attended many adult Bible Classes. Went to Bible camps.
Looking over my shoulder every day worrying I was pleasing God. Being forced to love someone I feared. The very essence of sadomasochism.
And being aware as I got older that our dioceses were sexually abusing little boys and being forced to keep my mouth shut about what I knew.
(Betcha I know the Old and New Testaments better than 90% of Christians, including you. Wanna try me! You "actual" Christian. LOL)
At 56-years-old "God" had never revealed himself to me. Not once.
I finally figured out that I had been brainwashed as a young child. And it was all male bovine excrement! Either God did not give a shit, or he did not exist. I threw of the chains and shackles of religion and learned to think for myself. And have been a happy secular humanist ever since. I learned humility. The best thing I ever did. (You ought to try it.) I changed my life for the better.
When I realized that Hell wasn’t true it was the biggest relief of my life. Now I don’t worry that my friends and loved ones are in danger of burning in hell because they don’t believe in the Bible. I’ve slept much better since.
For me, the bottom line is always the Truth. The question must always be; is it True? That is the only way to make the best choices for ourselves, as well as our society. All religious belief systems introduce many unsupported claims with no evidence taking us away from the path to Truth, robbing us of the ability to make the best decisions in our lives.
The main difference between believers and non-believers is magical thinking. It comes from a desire that there is some magical power out there that will save you from the responsibilities of your life.
My only regrets: wasting so much time of the only life you get here on earth with this debilitating nonsense and debating arrogant, condescending Christians like you. The whole story about Jesus coming back to life after crucifixion is a story invented by religious cultists. Myth at best. Lies at worst.
You need to brush up on your Christianity. The God that I know and share a relationship with knows nothing of what you’re referring to. Why don’t you reach out to him and clear things up?
A person has to want God in his or her life. Look into the Bible Code. A code was discovered in the Torah. My father was of the priestly lineage. Genetic testing has proven The there is a distinguishing marker on the y chromosome in the males of that lineage. Israel…Should I continue?
Not all Christians believe that. Those that do are usually Calvinists who adhere to the concept of predestination. They believe that only the Elect are chosen by God before hand to go to heaven. By a miraculous coincidence the Calvinists themselves fall into that category.
Some Christians might believe everything is planned like Christian Zionist drooling over end times in Israel. For most others we feel God has a plan, but it remains unrevealed keeping some of us in line and doing our best to arrive with reservation we didn’t know we had, but prayed for.
I do not presume to know and I said feel, that does not say know. Do you discern the difference? You are certainly welcome to say She if that floats your boat. Repetition often produces the term everybody innocently uses like Xerox when you meant copy. Get it? Why so much hostility, are you suffering from some state of confusion or are you simply conflicted and lashig out at people you disagree with? That's juvenile.
El Elyon. Despite "gāḏ" גָּד H1409 being a masculine noun, "God" (source) is properly feminine, and most biblical occurrences translate the masculine plural of a feminine singular, "elohim". Why is this considered so complicated? Where's the logic?
The main difference between believers and non-believers is magical thinking. It comes from a desire that there is some magical power out there that will save you from the responsibilities of life.
If you concede that only GOD stops you from doing bad things, then you are a bad person who is only kept in check by your own cowardice, Cosmo.
I never said that Dennis, but morality is a positive characteristic to develop. Religion, for some, provides the means to achieve that morality and a belief in God, or any power bigger than yourself has the effect of learning to live within those moral boundaries and that often leads to a fulfilling and happy life. There are no assurances that you have a better life as it is always up to you to decide how to be. Why do you turn this into a state of magical thinking or being? There is no magic, it's a belief system, not magical thinking that separates and that works for some. If this does not suit you far be it for to me condescend to suggests you lack the right sort of magical thinking.
Believing in something does not make it true, Cosmo!
Where did my morality derive from? Frankly I don’t care, it could be derived from tribal utility borne of generations of human evolution. But what I do know is that I can see the lack of morality in the actions of many professed religious people.
Good social behaviour is necessary to advance a species. “Morality” is behaviour that keeps you safe. Killing, raping, and stealing, are not conducive to remaining safe from reprisal. We behave, “morally” to minimize threat to our own safety. We learned through evolution that survival requires lowering risk to ourselves and our children. Good morality is how we reduce risk.
Morality does not come from the Bible or any other old religious book.
This story shows a true picture of the times. I had post partum depression after my second child but for a long time I didn't know what to call it. It's a REAL thing that happens to some women. I managed to live with it but got so skinny neighbors were asking me was I sick (insinuating some kind of cancer) and I remember just being in kind of a fog. Going through the motions every day. Eventually it passed but I was sleepwalking through a few months until I guess my hormones went back to whatever normal was for me.
This was a creepy read for sure. I remember all of these cases, especially List and just couldn't figure how he could kill those nearest and dearest to him and then just go on about his life like nothing happened. Bill O'Reilly (billoreilly.com) I feel accurately states that at least 20% (not sure of exactly %) of people are psycho and I agree. You can't be too careful these days or any days. Haven't we all had those moments looking at someone we know and feeling uneasy? Currently I feel we are regressing to what I call cavemen days and people are becoming more aggressive and less caring.
90% of people are robots ( Joseph Cappalone, on rense years ago)... , 20% are psychos, therefore , there are some crazy robots out there, waiting for a 'get away with it' upgrade.
I think too that we work in our busy beehives and are cordial and then any real stressor like Covid happens and you see how totally bonkers and especially mean people are and you realize all of these things you know about people are not real and you have very few true people who care about you . If you want a really good taste of how superficial
That is , watch “ The Accident “ limited series on Netflix. Totally mortifying how friends will turn in a tragedy .
I'm very sorry about your Mom and your neighbor but I'm tired about the sterotype that women were abused and tied to the kitchen and bedroom. Each family is different. My Mom started to work when my brother was in grade school. She didn't have to work but she knew it was important to have her own money. Women were always teachers and nurses. My husband's Mom was an executive secretary.
I don't think you can understand how we were raised then and what brainwashing was pushed on women which of course, then sometimes created mental issues. Some worked but a lot did not, that wasn't the plan. I don't expect you to know what you didn't hear but trust me, it was very different for women in the 50's versus say the 80's. I think back how now at my age I didn't understand and could have been nicer to my mother at this same age.
I'm 75 years old. The information I wrote in my last reply was from the late 50s and 60s WW2 women worked in the factories. To me it looks like a lot of women were abused. But a lot weren't.
Yeah, but....women never got treated right in those days. My mother's shorthand looked exactly like Mr Gregg wrote it, she would type easily 100 wpm, she was pretty and charming and very smart. She got paid a pittance as one of the few executive secretaries to the vp of a huge known (I'm not saying) insurance company. She couldn't raise us on that pittance of around $300 a month, 8 to 5 and all glory but no remuneration. There is no doubt that women rule the world and we are STILL treated like second class citizens. But I don't care because I know who I am and what I do. Still...
Women rule the world? Life is certainly better for them but you can't change reality. Most of the heavy lifting that any society needs to survive is still done by men. Farming, trucking in the food, construction, maintenance, etc. I'm not beating up on women in general, but I'm a man who works in a majority-women workforce and I get sick of being told how useless we are.
When the kids in my classroom would whine,” Teacher, it's not fair.” I'd say “Where is it written that life is fair?” No political system can change that.
You have missed the point entirely about everything....Life is NOT fair and Life is NOT Perfect. I most certainly and definitely am not whining and I certainly am not talking to teachers. I am perfectly capable of taking care of my life and I stated that women....well, you read it...that is MY viewpoint. You may have your own.
How are women treated like second-class citizens, Vicki? I don't know where you live, but that is the very opposite of the truth where I live. I heard the same accusation when our nation recently voted to make females work till the same age as men (65). It was a losing argument trying to point out to many women that this was not some kind of male patriarchial oppression but in fact equality in action.
Men are currently not treated very well either and men are far from useless. Men are great and the toxic masculinity thing is not fair either. Or white male supremacy. It's all very complicated that's for sure and yes the rules on working apply to all. I was not as advocate of the "women's movement'" they went about it in too aggressive a way. I have an appt I can't miss, but I;ll be back on this.
"I have learned the very hard way that life is a huge mystery with very few answers."
That's not true, Lynn. The mystery is solved if we would simply learn of the gospel of Christ, believe it, along with His inspired Word in the Authorized King James Bible. The answers for this age we live in are found in Romans through Philemon. I trusted Him at the age of 21 and have lived emotionally, spiritually and mentally free and confident for over four decades.
We moved to a red state in 2022 to escape Oregon’s pathologized response to the Covid pandemic. Here, we met a nice couple down the street, both self-professed “Christians” and we welcomed their friendship, though we are not religious. The wife brought us food while we were ailing or when my husband had surgery. Nice gal. Then October 7th happened. Right after that, when Israel begin murdering anybody and everybody they could to “defend itself” -this woman told me she hoped Israel killed every last infant, toddler, child, teen, mother, father, and grandparent. Every single one. “They’re ALL Hamas,” she chortled. “Kill them ALL, glass it!!”she continued. “Make it a parking lot!!” I sat there stunned. I’m still stunned when I think about it. She’s carried on going to church every Sunday since then, making people food when they’re sick, etc. But I will never, ever think about her the same way again before she said all this. Even after tens of thousands of innocents have been bombed and crushed, and shot, she still feels the same way about ALL the Palestinians. ALL of them. Yes, even the tiniest babies. “Glass ‘em!” I’ll never understand her psyche. I’ve tried. I cannot.
That Zionist "fundamentalism" is poisonous, Mel. And it didn't exist until after Israel was created on Palestinian land. Like the John Lists of the world, they actually believe that God approves of this genocide. Thanks.
God approved of many genocides. Actually, calling for them!
"Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey." 1 Samuel 15:3.
Netanyahu invoked this Biblical reference with his Amalek rhetoric for a blatant call to commit genocide. Now 200,000 + have been slaughtered.
And 90% of their homes, electricity, drinking water, sewage facilities and hospitals destroyed. Because the Palestinians had the audacity to pray to the wrong GOD!
And NOT ONE GOD has lifted a finger to stop the genocide.
Dennis, we get that you don't believe in God. That's your prerogative. I wonder about the God in the Old Testament, and as I've said before, he certainly seems different than the one represented in Jesus in the New Testament. But I don't pretend to be an expert on the Bible. I have read the New Testament, but find the Old Testament very scary. Thanks.
Good luck, man. You've sure posted here a lot, very angry that some people believe in God. I'm sorry you've not got a personal relationship with the Divine, I will pray for your enlightenment. Good luck and may God bless your doubt with awareness.
When Americans are asked to indicate their religious affiliation, 28% now check 'none.' A study from Pew Research finds that the religiously unaffiliated ~ atheists, agnostic and those who say their religion is "nothing in particular" is now the largest group. More prevalent among American adults than Catholics (23%) or evangelical Protestants (24%).
Yeah of course, if the universe had a cause - then it means that your "God" was the cause. So, of all the hundreds of "Gods", it was your "God" who created and fine-tuned the Universe. And 13-billion years later he sneaked some poorly written contradictory scriptures to a few illiterate humans on a teeny tiny planet so that all of the Universe would know him. GMAFB
Jesus is only a myth in a very old book of fiction my friend.
And the Christian God started all this killing and genocide in Gaza in the first place. When one party comes armed with their Bible and a 2,000-year-old promise from their imaginary GOD, rational thinking goes out the window.
The issue will only be settled on the field of battle with iron and rivers of blood.
As we are seeing on Al Jazeera TV every day.
Thousands slaughtered in the name of imaginary GODs.
As it has been done since man invented GOD's.
There will be no winners.
Most Christians have devoted most of their life to the religion and are very susceptible to the sunk cost fallacy. They hold on to this belief for so long that even if they see the flaws in it, they feel that they just wasted part of their life, so they hold onto it to feel better.
Ultimately, as with so many expressions it all comes down to intent. But the next time a Christian says, “I will pray for your enlightenment. Good luck and may God bless your doubt with awareness", notice how the sentence is used. Is it a kind expression of love and concern, or is it what it is meant to be ~ a slap in your face? "I am superior to you. I know the truth - you are ignorant! I have access to truths you do not have. I am chosen"
Having a personal relationship with the Divine is a mental illness. “Did Jesus resurrect?” “Yep!” “Is he still alive?” “Yep!” “Cool, then can I see him?” “We’ll, it’s complicated…”
I don't get my panties in a knot about folk's beliefs. I do however save my scorn for those who insist their personal relationship with the divine is exempt from mockery.
Sigmund Freud called it your "super-ego". That "voice" in your head is not "God". It is you pretending to be "God". In short, he proffered religious folk all create "God" in their own image.
“For all addicted religious persons who lights a candle for me, then verily it shall be immediately bloweth out by me. I didn't ask for your candle to be lit for me.
I don't want it; I don't need it. Please have your Candle back thank you very much.” – the great atheist Cristopher Hitchens
Russell’s teapot is an analogy, formulated by the philosopher Bertrand Russell (1872–1970), to illustrate that the philosophic burden of proof lies upon a person making empirically unfalsifiable claims, as opposed to shifting the burden of disproof to others.
Russell specifically applied his analogy in the context of religion. He wrote that if he were to assert, without offering proof, that a teapot, too small to be seen by telescopes, orbits the Sun somewhere in space between the Earth and Mars, he could not expect anyone to believe him solely because his assertion could not be proven wrong.
Many religious people speak as though it were the business of sceptics to disprove received dogmas rather than of dogmatists to prove them. This is, of course, a mistake.
If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a China teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion.
But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense.
If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time.
Sounds like a solid foundation for basing your life on!
Christians, say we have an instruction manual.
It's called the Bible.
The problem is that it can be interpreted to say anything.
Therefore, God's will is whatever the reader of the Bible thinks his will is.
"When the Bible says 'XYZ', it actually means 'banana rhinoceroses' rectangle'.
“No amount of belief makes something true.” - James Randi
Bertrand Russell said a Christian is what you become when you let other people tell you what is in the Bible. An atheist is what you become after you read the Bible.
"It isn't those parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand." Mark Twain
You can defend the Bible, or you can read the Bible. Not both.
Same God, different name. How dumb is that? My thesis is The One Male God is the downfall of Modernia. We need to get that dude's wife back into action! This masturbating Single Dude God is an asshole and pretty horny, which is why he's such an asshole!
I've seen that attitude too, so many times that it's commonplace.
It's partly a lack of consciousness due to media programming, but more so a genetic
impulse rising into their conversation from the dark-side of the psyche. If history is a guide, then genocide is part of the human condition. I recall embarrassing myself in 5th grade when a young new teacher asked the class what we thought was the right answer to the violence we saw in Vietnam every night on t.v. and I said that "we should nuke them".
The teacher detested that comment and made me rethink what I was advocating.
He used to paly John Denver music in class, so he was a peacenik.
Yes, she listens to Glen Beck on her EarPods while she’s running by our house every day on her route. She is programmed to hate. And her pastor backs her up on it. Of course, she feels she is 100% justified in wishing innocents dead. It’s repulsive to my ears. I can hardly be near her at this point. I’m always polite, but I don’t want to get any deeper into a friendship with her, if indeed one can have a deep relationship with anyone who feels such disdain for even an infant. Egads!!
Mel, (full disclosure I'm a lifelong red stater watching it go purple by the day) what you express was the ultimate last straw in severing my "church going " ways. That psyche I understood but now reject and have turned form it. ON Oct 7th in my area, State of Israel Flags pooped up along with Pray for Israel on lots of small church marquis signs. As a follower of Christ and someone who doesn't support Hamas or any terrorist group but believe that genocide has been committed in Palestine since the 40s, I have no church where I am welcomed. Whether Oregon state or god fearing church goers, death and punishment are blindfolds and safety blankets used by all people to hide from what they are so vehemently promoting. I am so sad it took me almost 50 years to wake up to Zionism and search for truth regarding our history as a nation. The christian zionist, the America is the defender of freedom war machine crowd, the BLMers, the trans LGBTQ..., ProChoice have all chosen to ally with death. I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and politically speaking it's hard to follow in this world but it's not hard to see the right and wrong Jeuss lays out for us. Sadly like the people in John Chapter 6 many followers just couldn't accept it and turned away from Him this is still happening today except they have the safety of American exceptionalism, entertaining mega churches, reproductive choice, public safety and health, medical science, old covenant heresy, gender fluidity etc... to run to. and ultimately the band plays on.
I find her attitude towards all Palestinians sad but one must remember what the self professed Muslim states charter says about Israel and Jews in general You can find it with a simple google search or on Wikipedia It may not be a Christian attitude in your eyes but one must remember this is a free country to think what one wants to
Never said it wasn’t a “free country” but I don’t have to associate myself someone who is hateful, whether they be an American, an Israeli, a Palestinian, or a French or Englishman… etc. and I won’t have that in my life.
Very interesting to try and understand the mind of mankind. Maybe not fully understand, but come to some middle road. What is it that makes these people go off their rockers? Without knowing for sure, I would say big pharma drugs are a major impetus.
Individual murders like those you mentioned are always more "spectacular" and up front. Whereas thugs like Gates, George Soros, and the Rothschilds do their murdering by the millions and seldom does any one individual stand out. Just the way they like it so as to do their dirty deeds upon us without us realizing it.
My mom's neighbor drowned her two little children. Mom used to say how cute they were. But, mom had her own issues with madness. My uncle was in HVAC and came out to the farm to repair our furnace. I remember him saying that it looked like someone was
trying to burn our house down. There were newspapers piled up around the furnace in the basement. We never went down into the basement. It was a 1900 house. The basement was cold and dark. She probably thought she could put a match to it and nobody would guess she did it. WHY in the world would anyone pile up newspapers around a furnace? Being on psych meds and looking forward to her divorce was a
I can believe any monstrous idea after watching our government fund for decades a group of maniacs in the Middle East for some goofy notion that they are doing the work of the Lord.
It was God in the Bible who established the real Israel and he didn't need a foreign country to help him. Imagine that one's god is so weak, that he needs your help to slaughter innocents for his grand plan. Is that a god or is it satan?
Certainly our foreign policy, centered around the interests of Israel, is insane by any definition, Landon. But we can at least understand that the madness is associated with a zionist/globalist conspiracy. The people I mentioned are our neighbors and co-workers. Who just inexplicably do the most horrific crimes imaginable. Thanks.
Well, I brought that up because some of the ones you mentioned were supposedly very religious people. And it appears that they used their religion to justify some of their horrible deeds.
There definitely must be something horribly wrong with their brains or they really are possessed by demons.
We had a young girl go missing here in a town near me 40 years ago and every fall I start wondering what happened to her. There were many suspects but few actual clues. She was only 17 at the time. Now it is possible that she ran away, but I don't think so. She had confronted her boyfriend in a very public place that she was pregnant. The rumor is that he killed her and his dad helped to dispose of the body.
Then there were kids in another city who were kidnapped from the state fair and murdered by one of the ride operators.
I bet there are thousands of other killings that we don't even know about. There are a lot of missing kids and persons who are just never found.
They definitely used their religion as a justification, Landon. How can anyone think that God would approve of you killing your family? Yes, I am haunted by all those missing kids. The ones that used to stare out from milk cartons. As Ted Gunderson said, the FBI inexplicably keeps no stats on missing kids. Maybe some run away and manage happy lives, but the vast majority of them are either murdered, or sex trafficked. Thanks.
Of course it is used as a justification, dovetailing with the belief that one has the "Holy Spirit", therefore has God indwelling, and therefore no mortal
criticism or law is sufficient to dissuade a person from his activity.
Also, being 'religious' is sometimes similar to being obsessive compulsive.
But, since it implies some kind of ultimate experience, it also can refer to the best side of humanity; empathy, love, joy, sincerity, truth, justice, and aesthetic revelations; actually seeing and feeling beauty and wonder.
'With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion.' 'Religion is an insult to human dignity. - Steven Weinberg
Religion requires belief. But belief is not real, we make it up in our heads. We can keep it or change it. People change beliefs and religions all the time. Faith is the other side of that coin. Faith is that "ultimate experience" you mention, and it's just that... a moment, an encounter with time; the effort to reveal beauty. Now that's some holy sht!
Evidently we have too much privacy. If we were living elbow to elbow, we would not dare to be so perverted and cruel in front of others and we wouldn't have the luxury of being disgusting in private, because there would be none!
Religion, much like abusive relationships, create a tragic co-dependency. In many instances a traumatic bond that shackles people with so much fear and confusion that they don't feel like they have the ability to walk away.
The fictional God of the Bible is the same as an abusive and violent father who wants everything his way or else!
More humans have been traumatized, tortured, trivialized, terrorized, terminated, brutalized, minimized, murdered, maimed, marginalized, and mistreated in the name of one deity or another than have been by Satan.
The great poet, Shelley, saw it so clearly when he said: “He has awakened from the dream of life. ‘Tis we who, lost in stormy visions, keep with phantoms an unprofitable strife.”
That’s what theists are doing, fighting self-created phantoms.
I gave some examples of deluded Christians who became unfathomable monsters, Dennis. But I don't think that most of those who suddenly flip out and turn on their closest loves ones do it because they insanely believe it will please God. Certainly, some have been Satanists. Others might have been hearing non-religious voices in their heads. Some might have been MK-ULTRA type of experimental subjects. Thanks.
I also don't think that most of those who suddenly flip out and turn on their closest loves ones do it because they insanely believe it WILL PLEASE GOD.
I think they flip out because their rational thinking has been damaged by believing in so much of the crazy shit that is in the Bible and preached from the pulpit at their church. Like there is a devil and eternal torment by fire if you DON'T PLEASE God every minute of your day.
Telling poor folks who have a slim grasp of reality anyway…. “He’s your God. You shall love him. If you don’t, he will torture you forever”. Demanding they love somebody that they fear. The very essence of sadomasochism. How many poor souls has that screwed up for life you think?
It's like those unfortunate folk sitting at the window in their rocking chair in the lunatic asylum, crying and screaming out over and over for Jesus to come and save them. And of course, he never comes. It's the most pitiful thing one can see.
"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man"- Thomas Jefferson
Well said! Getting one's reward in heaven after having been "saved" by jesus, just leads those people into playing out victim roles. There is no agency in mumbling a mantra of contrition and expecting to gain any important reflections on one's own life.
Agreed, but maybe you need to reword one of your sentences to avoid confusion.
"...in the name of one deity or another than have been by Satan".
Because I would contend that if there is no God then how can there be a Satan?
Because if there is no God, then we are only left with the brutal behavior of psychopaths and degenerates that can now only be attributed to abnormal brains and disfunction.
Monotheism is the problem. Everyone asks about god. The assumption is that there is only one god. "How does he do this or that? etc...." That is incorrect. There are three. A mommy, a daddy and a baby. Yin Yang and This.
This philosophy is useful on several levels. If there are two A-moral energies creating the Present Time together, and we, in Present Time are them, then we are here to teach them morality. Our humun job is to train the holy parents. WE are training our Ai spirits! Morality is not from the Divines, it is for us to choose.
Well, the Old Testament God of the Bible is a rather complicated topic.
It seems simple enough, right? But, I think we have to remember that ancient people
tended to anthropomorphize nature. So, if there was a great flood, then they would
poetically express that as God's judgment. The flood could have been from melting ice sheets 12,000 years ago. Then, there is the genetic memory in humans of struggling for survival. A genetic memory or 'instinct' would be considered God's voice.
Almost nobody these days doubts that at the end of the last ice age there were catastrophic floods. These are recorded in the physical history and passed down in legend around the world, at least in the N hemisphere.
So, ancient people did personify the reality of life as acts of God.
Likewise, they were often very warlike people. Excluding the wars of the
Abrahamic tribes, everywhere there were wars. It's part of human instinct, and
you don't seem to understand the force of instinct. It's in effect the words of
God commanding the individual or tribe to act in certain ways. You never heard of a wolf not wanting to kill and eat a cute little bunny rabbit!
So, the question of which God is all about instinct. The more important question comes from Genesis 3 where the character Eve disobeys God/instinct. It's not an animal behavior to double guess instinct,,,, although in dogs for instance they do have enough consciousness to disobey their wolf
"Take away from Genesis the belief that Moses was the author, on which only the strange belief that it is the word of God has stood, and there remains nothing of Genesis but an anonymous book of stories, fables, and traditionary or invented absurdities, or of downright lies."- Thomas Paine
As Val Kilmer stated to Kurt Russell,” there is no normal Wyatt, just life”.
I always hear people say I want to be normal, I have said it many years ago. What does that mean? Everyone has a different upbringing and different experiences to draw upon. If one has more tragedy than normal, and yet lives an upstanding life that is “commendable”. If one has all the blessings and privilege of the rich, and ends up in prison for killing why do we question it with such apathy?
There is no normal, in fact normal is pretty f-ed up if you really think about it.
The government exists to subjugate citizens into servitude and slavery, it is not normal by any definition. It kills its citizens for kinda of normal reasons….. think about it and you realize the only sane rational is to want it taken apart at all levels…
Touché Steghorn, the only times I ever stupidly wished to be normal were when I was at my lowest due to mostly uncontrollable shit that happens in life. To your point about covid, it was that “normal” that made me really dislike almost everyone I come into contact with to this day. I need to learn to quit being so damn situationally aware at all times, the other pitfall I fall into is, sometimes wish to be naive or clueless about everything going on around me…. Perhaps learning to ignore people I will loathe them less….
Many of my older friend sand I find we like being by ourselves (our most interesting company) far better than we ever did before and tolerating less BS from everyone and anything else. I think it's just reality setting in. Sad to say covid taught us some reality we didn't know existed or perhaps just weren't aware of. Yes, I know, a preposition, but who cares..?.
I don't think there is a normal, really. You are a compilation of some good and/or some crazy genes, your surroundings, how you interpret things, etc. etc. What people call normal is people with very few flaws that are evident. Normal is a mystery. Personally I think sadly that religious training has a fair amount to do with how people finally turnout. In reading these answers and I do not have any; how could anyone think hamas action of Oct 7 could be acceptable or forgiven in any way. I still can't comprehend it. But how can we comprehend that still barbaric acts are going on in distant countries and no one is doing anything to stop it. Madness is everywhere.
When you consider the vast number of people who have had children, it isn't surprising that some have turned out to be murderous loons who ended up killing their children.
What I find sadder is how easy it is for people to go along with slaughtering children. Of course there are the evangelical nuts who truly believe that there is nothing Jesus loves more than Jews killing Arab children. But how about all the supporters of Bush the Elder and Clinton who had no trouble with killing Iraqi children because we didn't like Saddam? Madeline Albright felt killing 500,000 Iraqi kids was worth it. Where is the outrage? Oh sorry but people weren't told to be outraged.
Most people can put up with any atrocity if there is something in it for them or their team is doing it.
I wonder how many kids were killed in our bombing of Yemen? We at least know that the courts won't stop that like they have tried to stop deporting violent criminals.
Great points, Al. The Allied forces killed some 39,000 toddlers alone during the senseless bombing of the German city of Dresden, which had absolutely no military value. They were the "good guys," as were the Union soldiers who raped, robbed, and slaughtered civilians in the War Between the States. My book "Crimes and Cover-Ups in American Politics: 1776-1963" details all this. Thanks!
Another book to make us all realize that PSYHCHOAPTHIC CONTROL FREAK PARASITES run our PLANET! Dresden was one sick case. How about the two Japanese cities that were decimated right about the time they were getting ready to surrender? The list is endless. What I want to know is when GOD is going to let NORMAL people run the show. But the problem is...what exactly is NORMAL to God? The story of King David is just one of the stories that make me wonder.
Great article. I get your point about the unexplainable psychotic, demonic actions of those who kill their family, But in answer to your question: "So what sends more chills up your spine; our leaders engaging in occult rituals under a giant owl at Bohemian Grove, or a nice, religious fellow who painstakingly kills his entire family one day?"
I will have to go with the Bohemian Grove nuts, because their action affect millions.
You have a point, Realist. But it's the John Lists that cause us to lose more sleep. We know that those who misrule us are motivated by evil, and are serving Satan either directly or indirectly. Those who suddenly explode aren't as easy to explain. Thanks.
this shows how useless tax parasite cops are. you cant stop most killing but they never go after the cults that program these people. Look at Jizzlaine maxwell. not one person named or arrested. child sex slavery all over the law does nothing. also the US military utterly useless trillions spent and all they can do is lose wars. the Houthis and even somalians beat them. all they can do is destroy infrastructure and kill women little girls and babies. that is all they are good at
I agree completely, SPQR. Of course, cops can't be expected to be there to stop most murders, but their crime solving skills leave a lot to be desired, to put it way too kindly. And when they do find a suspect, they fixate on them, and essentially frame them, usually on little to no evidence. Thanks.
And then people sing "God bless America" as if God SHOULD. And the fact that people JOIN today voluntarily to go to far away distant lands, meet strange unusual people and kill them because....WHY?
I say teach them right and they won't EVER join the military. PERIOD. If we had the first 13 words of the 2nd amendment back in force and effect we wouldn't NEED a military. The founding fathers weren't stupid. https://www.courageouslion.us/p/those-forgotten-and-ignored-13-words
73 C 117 flights to move one Patriot battery from Korea to the Middle-East to prepare for the war with Iran. Just the daily fuel consumption is staggering. (so much for the CO2 problem and global warming - it doesn't exist for the militaries of the world. )
yes you are totally correct and that fuel usage bill never seems to get added to the cost of an operation like saying one billion spent bombing Yemen. probably 5 times that
The "Bad Seed" concept is perhaps most frightening of all, Ira. I just don't see how one can lead a productive, criminal-free life for decades, and then commit the worst acts imaginable. Thanks.
LOL! Science is reliable? Go back through the ages and see just how reliable science has been. I suspect you believe in global warming because of the "science"? Am I correct? LMK...
Atheistic scientists share a lot in common with fundamentalist Christians: a complete unwillingness to challenge their foundational beliefs. Which "science" do you mean? Isaac Newton's theory of the Universe or Einstein's? A total belief in science leads you just as easily into falsehood and arrogance as does total literal belief in the Bible.
I think it's all a part of an MKUltra experiment. Let loose these ticking time bombs on to unwitting, trusting society. I know that spooks never tell their own families their real work until, perhaps, their deathbed. Or long after retirement.
I'd also like to know how many such evil-minded, innocent-looking characters exist in proportion to the population in other countries, especially outside of the West, the Five Eyes. And what about those train orphans whose origins are often mysterious or unknown?
These cases seem to me to be particularly extreme in number and degree of psychopathy in the USA and UK.
Like the guy narrating the video, I too was pretty much unaware of this, Teresa. What a shameful indictment of our economy back then- already rigged against the common people. That's why I could never be a conservative, and ignore the tragic conditions some must suffer under the disparity of wealth. Thanks!
That reminded me of the Verdingkinder Swiss Child Slave Trade that ran until the 1950's. The Swiss government would offer "assistance" to poor families, and then confiscate their children (sound familiar). Here's a like to their story.
Thanks. I didn't realize they had a museum, as I found out about these orphan settlers from Jar Jar Binks' "Mud and Magnificence" episode of his flat earth series.
How many times, after someone commits a crime, do reporters interview friends and family and are told “I just can’t believe he/she would do this. I know them. They don’t have it in them.” One of the greatest lies that people believe is that humans are basically good. This is simply not true. The Bible is clear that we are all born with a sin nature that is opposed to God and his law. Not one of us is good. The Bible also tells us that God has written his law on our hearts so that we are without excuse when we transgress. We call this a conscience, that part of us that feels guilt and shame. The conscience restrains most people from the worst sins. Throw in social conditioning and rewards for good behavior, you end up with a person who lives and works well with others and who society will consider “good.” However, apply enough pressure in the right way and you will find that anyone is capable of doing what they would otherwise consider unthinkable. That people are able to go against their nature to do what is good, what is right and courageous and selfless and sacrificial, that is what is shocking, not that they are able to commit heinous acts of evil.
I disagree. People ARE basically good. Think about it. How many percentage wise world wide are running around committing acts of violence and aggression against their neighbors? BEFORE you became a Christian, were you robbing? Raping? A thief? Murder a few neighbors or shoot someone in a drive by shooting over drugs? That's why I believe that Jesus was an ANARCHIST and the main reason the powers that be back then wanted him DEAD. NO rulers except Yahweh. I'm going to be 71 in June and the worse thing I did in 71 years was porn related. No, I never raped anyone. Never robbed anyone, never shot anyone, never beat anyone up that didn't deserve it and that was during my school years. And the people I know that are Christians in many cases are criminals in many respects who come to "church' to quench their guilt. After all...And how many Christians cheer on the fake Israel's murder of innocent women and children? Sorry, I'll be right back...I think my breakfast is going into the toilet.
and remember when they were chasing the "DC Sniper", that the FBI's profile office (which had been getting popularity at that time) came out with their "profile" of the sniper? ROFLMAO! They said it was an "Angry White Male" who more than likely a carpenter or a painter type of character who was driving a "White Construction Van".
The night of the 7 Corners Shooting at the Home Depot, I had been carrying my Radio Shack 800/900 mhz scanner with me and had the VA State PD channels running. The repeaters in their system insured I would get to hear the regular (not tactical) traffic. Right after it happened, I heard it reported on that scanner, before it was interrupted in the TV broadcasts. Two troops who were stationed out on the Beltway, got another call to BOLO for a Dark Blue Chevy Caprice, driving at high speed on the shoulder of Interstate 66, heading West in the East Bound lanes. The troopers requested authority to leave their positions and go after the car. The dispatcher came back and said the Task Force commander, then Chief Major (same guy who now heads up the Capitol PD...can't make that up!) wanted all units to keep their positions.
Turns out later that night, the same car that was traveling West bound in the East bound 66 lanes, was the one used by the snipers except the managed to get all the way up over to Interstate 270 in MD!
That was a politically driven mess from the FBI downward! That agency has a horrible legacy. They were 180 degrees wrong and caused more harm and probably delayed the capture of the snipers and caused MORE DEATHS!!! It was an outrage and here we see, one of the offenders now is rewarded with being the BMOC on Capitol Hill.
Lesson is, if you're a white male, don't buy a white work van!
(also, don't forget when that windup toy Mayer pretended to have a nuke in a white van at the base of the Washington Monument...) oh and by the way Don, I have a great Bob Macy story about that event as well. BTW, Bob Macy, OKC DA, was a Democrat.
I remember that time all too well, Vince. Being scared to pump gas. Looking all around me on the playground when I was visiting my daughter's third grade class. The police chief's name was Moose, I believe. Chief Moose was a perfect face for that farce. I think he wrote (well, someone wrote it for him) a book afterwards. I'm sure it sold better than any of mine lol. Thanks!
Yeah, you're talking about the DC police chief. He went back up north after that. Major went from Fairfax PD to Montgomery County, MD, where he went to Capitol Hill. Tom Major, was at the front end of the Home Depot shooting, because it was in Fairfax County. Moose was in the front of anything in DC and I forget the Montgomery Co. PD Chief's name. Tom Major. Look him up!
They did one there and in Richmond to throw off the trail.
I had a small business at the time and recall driving up from the Southern part of our area just after the Richmond killing. There a poorly painted blue Caprice in front of me and I saw a hole next the license plate. I thought that was an odd thing. You never know!
I think they might be on to something regarding the cold war, Freemasons, Vietnam, and the Apollo missions. (and Kennedy murders)
I don't think Don is buying the Apollo connection to his coup, but I still think there is something to it. Of course he warned people about secret societies!
Sixth sense = he holy spirit that keeps your heart beating. The life force given to us by our creator. YES, listen! My life has been blessed because I listened.
I hoped that with the arrival of Patel and Bongino at the FBI that they'd scourge the organisation from top to bottom. What a disillusion that was! I expect in a few months time to be hearing them talking about "fine, upstanding agents who love their country".
I used to listen to him on the radio, now and then. Yet two more people I can't be an apologist for. I think what this demonstrates to us is perhaps not that these people who talk straight and appear to walk straight, get tangled up in their promises by way of just how big the mess is. It takes them longer. I have not had time to write a substack on how bad the judiciary branch really is. People forget that it was promised to be the least influential branch of the three and yet, somewhere along the way, it became a "co-equal" branch. It also appears that the people you've mentioned, who once believed that Federalism was the only way to go, no find themselves being mentally shackled by what we call "activist judges". The power they now and have been using is a usurped nature. If you closely at Justice John Marshall and how many posts he turned down until Adams offered him the top seat on the SCOTUS and how fortunate for Adams and the Federalists that James Madison, the father of the US Constitution (he stole it from Virginia's) was to be on the opposing side of the Federalists in Marbury v Madison. As the court usurped it's power to establish what is now called "Judicial Review" and find in favor of Marbury to be placed in a lower court's judgeship and not have James Madison, of a human beings on the earth, stand as a defeated party and not raise one objection as to how the power was usurped out from under the very contract he wrote and pushed for ratification, was in itself, the reason why, until now that they have gotten away with it. (I guess I'm writing that substack in a thumbnail for you) I blame Thomas Jefferson, who should have told the court to go somewhere else to usurp its power and not post Marbury to that seat. That "decision" by Marshall, only extended into the Federal Court's purview. A few years later, in a case called Martin (nephew of Lord Fairfax) v Hunter's Lessee, Marshall excused himself from the case because he once worked for Lord Fairfax. This left Joe Story as head of the court and it was a state of Virginia case. Story did the same thing Marshall did except this time, he punched a hole, right into the 10th Amendment by saying the Federal SCOTUS has the power and the right to look into a State case. It was done at the end of Jefferson's second term and again, too shy to come out of his shell, we get our butts kicked. Now, you see Trump, standing on the hill that Jefferson should have and is clawing back the power of the Constitution, for the people. However, as I have repeated to many recently, Trump's error is that he is taking the Nathenial Bacon approach and if he ends up politically or even physically like Mr. Bacon did in 1676 (yes that's not a typo-1676) then the backlash against all of us, will be swift and I'm sorry to say, very deadly. Sorry to have taken up so much time. I know you can't get it back.
Truman Sec of Defense Forrestal, who opposed recognizing a middle east country ended up in a looney bin and suicided off the side of the building.
Your article is pretty black pilled.
Plane crashes and tall buildings are preferred in gov. docs
Freemasons are a secret society for a reason. Now whenever there is a plane crash I wonder about the passengers, like with the Titanic, which remains untouched. Woody Allen began to think that some one was after him
" When a bomb blew up in my hat."
Where are the files on MK Ultra? Paging Pam Bondi.
To sum it up: "he seemed like a nice guy". I've met many people. How many of those were/are nutcases? I would guess about 1 person in 50. Be wary...as I used to tell my children..."if feels weird...get the hell out of there or make a scene because once a "Gacy" has you in handcuffs you are dead."
Wow. Fascinating, W. And you met him just a few weeks before he was arrested. That's the scariest part- you really can't tell. They said Ted Bundy was really charming. Good advice to your children. Thanks for sharing!
It certainly wouldn't help a pregnant woman or nursing mother, RE. Thanks.
I appreciate your insider perspective, Dr. K. Thanks!
Valium and other benzos? Useless SSRIs have largely replaced them.
Me, too, Serafino. Thanks!
Insouciance is a terrible human failure.
And a terrible word to spell!
But a wonderful word to pronounce!
"Perhaps you were referring to Calvinists."
Or Christian Zionists, or Evangelicals...such as Huckabee.
Hucksterbee
I remember when Mike Huckabee used his clout to save his son from jail, after the kid tortured some dogs to death.
Torturing and killing animals like that is a sign of future serial killers and/or dark occult ritual.
There's been a real cleanup effort to remove the facts of the case and earlier coverage, so you know the Huckabee bloodline gets top-tier Narrative management from the occupying regime, whoever, whatever it is.
https://www.jacksonville.com/story/news/2015/02/12/fact-check-did-mike-huckabees-son-kill-dog/15650824007/
Why not go for the jugular: Fuckabee. That SoB is going to drag us into WW3.
EVERYTHING happens according to God's PLAN Christians will say.
But when SOMETHING tragic happens they do not like, the Christian says God gives us FREE WILL.
The age-old trick of constantly moving the goalposts.
Or the cop-out: God moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.
“Yes, I have free will; I have no choice but to have it.” - Christopher Hitchens.
Think hard about that for a while, Kris!
Why Hasn't God Destroyed Satan Yet?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDi8vOLLoEQ
Perhaps you could try actually reading at least the first four gospels of a Bible (non Scofield. Though reading this 1909 bastardization of the Christian Bible provides the modern heresies of Christian Zionism its justifications ). Satan is destroyed in the End. We’re all still here so that hasn’t happened yet.
Nice story. Any car chases?
tune into Father James Mawdsey, he even takes on the 'too much blood (Rolling Stones song) aspect of the OT. and bad Popes. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=father+James+Mawdsley+youtube&t=ffab&iar=videos
You don't know what Christians believe, and you are obviously angry at or about Christians.
Take care
You definitely seem angry. But as you said. I don't know you.
You need to brush up on your Christianity. The God that I know and share a relationship with knows nothing of what you’re referring to. Why don’t you reach out to him and clear things up?

God knows what choices we make. That's called free will.
"God knows what choices we make"...really!
How do you know this?
We know the mind of a supernatural being?
Prove that to us, Pamela my dear. Betcha can't.
A person has to want God in his or her life. Look into the Bible Code. A code was discovered in the Torah. My father was of the priestly lineage. Genetic testing has proven The there is a distinguishing marker on the y chromosome in the males of that lineage. Israel…Should I continue?
LOL, don't bother!
Who could believe this line of male bovine excrement?
The Bible Code...pffft.... Give us a fricken break, my dear!
Using the Bible to prove what's true in the Bible! LOL.
A person has to want God in his or her life: code for you can believe any old rubbish if you try hard enough!
We all did not fall off the turnip truck yesterday, Pamela!
"Religion poisons everything!" - Christopher Hitchens.
Never truer words spoken
It must be nice to be oh so very 'chosen'. lucky you.
How can you know the mind of god? How do you know "he" has a plan? You cannot know that. And why does everyone call god "he"?
Hilkiah (Chilqiyah - Saint Plunder) and the Calvinists replaced "God" (El Elyon) with Lucifer/Samael/Iblis (the Devil, aka "the god of this world").
"Currently I feel we are regressing to what I call cavemen days..."
It's been long-planned. "Are we not men? We are DEVO!" as in "de-evolution."
The Scamdemic brought a lot of them out into the open. What a curtain raiser that was!
We all have these regrets Vicki...
I'm 75 years old. The information I wrote in my last reply was from the late 50s and 60s WW2 women worked in the factories. To me it looks like a lot of women were abused. But a lot weren't.
And a lot of men were abused by lying women.
Sadly, it's even worse today.
Because in our woke Society a woman is NEVER WRONG.
Ask that lying whore E Jean Carroll how that is a slam dunk!
Even under oath in court she couldn't remember the date she was "raped". Yeah right!
You should read "The Assault on Truth" by Jeffrey Masson sometime... 🤔
A book?an essay? Thank you
A whole book!
With words of how many syllables? :)
😁
Warning: It's a bit of a Red Pill... 🔴
My story is here: https://risingdawn360.substack.com/p/four-corners-of-the-earth-rediscovered
Thanks.
It's existed at least since Orson Hyde.
Read your Bible please, Donald.
Thanks.
Oh yeah, but that the Old Testaments!
Isn't the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament?
Surely one of the basic tenants of the Christian believe.
Without the Old Testament the Christianity believe is incomplete.
Atheist Debates: But that's the Old Testament!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRy-UfUYYGk
Christian: I eat shellfish. It's okay because it's only bad in the OT.
Also Christian: I don't accept you for being gay because the Bible OT says it's not okay in Leviticus.
The Bible is a book of the knowledge of Good and Evil one cannot serve two masters
Anonymous undated ancient writings.
Egads!!
But you sound closer to Jesus than she is!
His main message, to love one another, seems diametrically opposed to her interpretation, that seems certain. Thanks, Scott.
A lot of Jewish and Roman fairy tales but also plenty of Spiritual truths from my perspective
Drugs are a big part of it.
Being on psych meds and looking forward to her divorce was a
tell.
She had all of Mary Daly's books.
Thanks.
'Religion' is a very problematic term.
Isn't it amazing that everything in the Bible occurs within 100-miles of where the Bible authors lived! LOL
No Kangaroos. No Polar Bears. No Mount Everest. No Niagara Falls. How could God never mention any of these! Just missed them! Duh!
The great flood was not so great eh! LOL
A genetic memory or 'instinct' could have nothing to do with a God. And even if did, which God? There have been thousands of Gods.
It's not an animal behavior to double guess instinct,,,, although in dogs for instance they do have enough consciousness to disobey their wolf
instincts.
Thanks Don! Fantastic as usual
Great points, Eve. Thanks!
For 2 years "normal" was wearing a shitty piece of cloth over your face and injecting yourself with an untested genetic therapy.
Thanks!
General Smedly Butler said his military career involved being a "gangster for corporations".
Butler also said war is a racket. Probably always been the case that way. it's out of desire for glory and plunder not out of necessity.
As long as you don't draft people or tax them, they are fine with you killing and plundering. That is probably the lesson learned from Vietnam.
I love Smedley Butler, and wrote a lot about him in the same book I mentioned above. A great American hero. Thanks, Al.
https://archive.org/details/WarIsARacket/ WAR IS A RACKET.
Thanks.
"Those who suddenly explode aren't as easy to explain."
Yes, an enigma.
this shows how useless tax parasite cops are. you cant stop most killing but they never go after the cults that program these people.
And the fact that people JOIN today voluntarily to go to far away distant lands, meet strange unusual people and kill them because....WHY?
then the US kids come home and realize they had more in common with an afghan goat herder then the satanic billionaires that sent them there
I say teach them right and they won't EVER join the military. PERIOD. If we had the first 13 words of the 2nd amendment back in force and effect we wouldn't NEED a military. The founding fathers weren't stupid. https://www.courageouslion.us/p/those-forgotten-and-ignored-13-words
They are extremely good at one other thing.
They are the world's number one consumer.
I did a thread on the LOP about it.
73 C 117 flights to move one Patriot battery from Korea to the Middle-East to prepare for the war with Iran. Just the daily fuel consumption is staggering. (so much for the CO2 problem and global warming - it doesn't exist for the militaries of the world. )
https://lunaticoutpost.com/thread-414009-post-7083149.html#pid7083149
yes you are totally correct and that fuel usage bill never seems to get added to the cost of an operation like saying one billion spent bombing Yemen. probably 5 times that
I think some people are born evil, although in some cases it takes longer for that evil to manifest itself.
The "Bad Seed" concept is perhaps most frightening of all, Ira. I just don't see how one can lead a productive, criminal-free life for decades, and then commit the worst acts imaginable. Thanks.
Repent of your preaching. Study science for its reliability, becoming educated in the process! Reality 101
Can we keep my mother-in-law out of this conversation?
Great article!
Good points, Teresa. Thanks!
Which "train orphans"? New York City, or immigrants? Relevance?
The Orphan Trains: Still too few people know about it today.
A sad history, and one wonders how their childhoods and lives were, and how their descendants have fared.
https://youtu.be/6ZKS0mW-7zI?feature=shared
Like the guy narrating the video, I too was pretty much unaware of this, Teresa. What a shameful indictment of our economy back then- already rigged against the common people. That's why I could never be a conservative, and ignore the tragic conditions some must suffer under the disparity of wealth. Thanks!
That reminded me of the Verdingkinder Swiss Child Slave Trade that ran until the 1950's. The Swiss government would offer "assistance" to poor families, and then confiscate their children (sound familiar). Here's a like to their story.
https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/life-aging/historian-reveals-tragedy-of-swiss-child-trade/3791220
Well put, Dreamom3. Thanks!
The conscience of too many is seared with a hot iron - 1Ti 4:2
Wow, can he do my shirts afterwards? :)
and remember when they were chasing the "DC Sniper", that the FBI's profile office (which had been getting popularity at that time) came out with their "profile" of the sniper?

I was staying at a Knight's Inn in Fredericksburg, Va. at the time.
There was the eeriest feeling that came over me in the parking lot.
It felt like there was someone out there. Those East coast cicadas buzzing added to the
creep factor! I think they did hit someone in Fredericksburg then too.
I ask people from time to time. Have you ever felt someone staring at you from behind?
Most people actually can tell if someone is staring at them. If that isn't evidence of a sixth sense, then what is?
They did one there and in Richmond to throw off the trail.
I had a small business at the time and recall driving up from the Southern part of our area just after the Richmond killing. There a poorly painted blue Caprice in front of me and I saw a hole next the license plate. I thought that was an odd thing. You never know!
Are you familiar with The Apollo Detectives?

Yours in liberty,
Vince
The Shadow Knows ... I actually listened to this radio broadcast each day as a very young boy.
Another delivery of an OUTSTANDING, thought-provoking article, Donald. A Great Read!
Thanks, Justin!
I have many black pilled moments, Bard. I wonder about everything. Thanks.
So much deleted from our history books. You did a great job filling in the blanks.
Thanks, Bard!
I’m The Shadow and I approve your message.
Thanks, Book!
Here's my YT video about my face-to-face meeting with John Wayne Gacy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEoW6BgrONc
That is something W.
Who in their right mind would allow themselves to be put in handcuffs by ANYONE except MAYBE the police? Bad idea.
Kids, children who think an adult is playing..
Time to teach your kids otherwise.
Agreed
