Lately, I often think how God was s-o-o-o right to disperse the population of men at the tower of Babel and separate them into diverse areas of the post-flood world. The internet has collapsed us all back to Babel, and look at us. Proximity just seems to bring out the worst in men and women. And the evil puppet-masters at the top must laugh as they watch us all nit-picking and squabbling with each other, because you are right Don. We will never come together to put up a cohesive fight against our very real common enemies. We're in sad shape, and I wish I could believe we were capable of reversing our downward spiral as we get squeezed together tighter and tighter down the drain and into Babel once again. But, hang in there and refuse to participate in the back-biting. That's a victory of sorts, and you may even find you influence a few souls here and there to follow your example. Who knows...?

If I wasn't literally struggling daily to keep my head above water and facing bankruptcy and homelessness, I'd be honoured to support your work financially and a few others besides. There was a time I did with a few but this last few years have taken a toll. I agree with all the points you raise, and the theme above all. The disunity I've seen since my own baptism of fire which began with 9/11 though I was on the side of JFK and the rest by default. Being a boomer and cynical from a young age I tended to accept most stories which suggested skulduggery in the hallowed halls.

It is indeed a simple matter for these scumbags to divide and conquer, divide and rule over the masses. I love you for your commitment to keep hacking away and I will continue to as well in whatever small platforms the internet spirits allow me too. I wish I could say I was optimistic we have a chance. I try hard to be inclusive and put aside differences when it comes to the overall fight against the satanic perversion of everything.

There are so many divisions built into society that it's a minefield. For example in most quarters I am among conservatives, there's a tendency for them to be on the right side of many things, though I find the Left/Right, Conservative/Liberal division to be artificial and one of the first dividing lines. Yet invariably when the fact I am Muslim comes up, there is certain to be a few if not many which immediately forget the common cause and go on the attack. Just an example. There are many as you indicate. These are the divisions which those who would rule over us have brought about and it is a minefield.

I appreciate your words of support, Rabbitnexus. I offer everything for free, and people can contribute if they desire. I know how hard it is out there for most people, living paycheck to paycheck, trying in vain to keep up with the ever increasing costs of living. Thanks!

I really appreciate the thesis behind this post. I’m so sick of purists and their enforcers. I really don’t care about a lot of the details that they tend to get hung up on. All I know is that my government lies to me and keeps acting like I’m the nut job when I call out what I see. I’m so done with the toxic behavior. I want my government held to account for their behavior and I don’t see a mechanism capable of doing that.

I appreciate the conspiracy community because they look at things differently and are willing to share their work with us normies. They aren’t wedded to the mainstream position, which is generally a scam these days. It’s almost like people enjoy toying around with these ideas and like the edginess that comes with the label’ conspiracy’ , but don’t want to do much to actually make our government work for ‘we, the people’. The research almost doesn’t matter if you are actively limiting your audience because someone’s a troll or someone else is problematic.

Well said. I think it all comes down to one's higherarchy of values. If Truth is at the top, one will not fall prey to petty ego struggles and money flashed in their face. If I learn someone in the conspiracy world is really a dis-info agent, I'm disappointed, but I move on quickly. I hate personality cults, but it sure looks to me that most folks love them. They will double-down to defend their "hero" no matter what. In that atmosphere, it's no wonder that the petty ego struggles exist...it is supported by the followers. I'm not going to boycott someone who I think is the real deal, just because I think the host is dis-info. I don't particularly care for Rense, but he is an exceptional interviewer, and he has great chemistry with you, Donald.

Sadly, I have come to believe that most people hate and fear the Truth. Even if they are interested in the Truth, ego and money are much higher on their list of values. New Agers like to say that there are only two things in the Universe: love and fear. I totally disagree. If you must narrow it down to two things, I would change that to: Truth and lies.

I have always loved that Franklin quote, but he was never in the slightest danger of being hung, because he was one of them.

I follow Alex and I also follow Jeff Rense at rense.com for even more info though some is a bit out there, it's nice to have the option of knowing about it. There have been links to articles that seemed to bizarre to be true and turned out later to be spot on. Divide and conquer, yup, it's definitely happening in a major way, especially with the internet. I think there is way too much information nowadays and many folks are getting overwhelmed with the immense amount of it, my spouse for one. Stop, she says, I haven't even had my coffee yet!

I think we tend to pick the wrong enemies, for example we all love to hate Russia and they make a good boggy man they are on the other side of the world, speak a different language, different political interests, etc. I bet if we were to examine the facts, and we are honest, we have more in common with them than differences. We do the same thing domestically because we don't look at common interests, as you said the old divide and conquer strategy used by the TPTB. We could do so much more good if we were to put as much energy into discovering common interests than looking at reasons to hate.

Yep. We have a very powerful common enemy. Thanks.

Well said Don, as always. I'm been involved in the "conspiracy community" for years, and have always been amazed at how many unpleasant, dishonest, and truly subversive commenters and commentators one comes across. I don't get involved in these sorts of petty, ridiculous arguments and drama sessions, as it's a total waste of time and energy.

I just don't understand why people can't agree to disagree about issues, especially controversial issues relating to controversial events (like 9/11, Sandy Hook and other alleged mass shootings, for example). There have to be literal paid trolls and undercover operators involved in instigating, fomenting, and fueling these internet disputes, and sadly, many people fall victim to these sorts of childish campaigns very easily.

I always approach any issue or independent media outlet or personality with an open mind, recognizing that we are not all going to agree on everything. But like you said, if we stick to the basics - the official government narrative explaining 9/11 or the JFK assassination, for instance, are 100% false and have been conclusively debunked many times over by professional researchers and scholars - we should all be on the same page.

Again, that doesn't mean we have to agree with one another on every aspect of every controversial event. But I'd like to think that there should be some sort of comradery, a sense that we're all on the same team pursuing the truth and attempting in our own ways to bring some sanity and justice to the world. Far too often, that is not the case. Egos get involved, baseless accusations that someone is "disinfo" or a "government plant," and other childish bickering prevail far too often... the type of nonsense I have no time, energy, or interest in even getting involved with.

Which makes it a very lonely experience being in the "truth movement" or "conspiracy community." It doesn't have to be this way.

Donald's article made me laugh, and was therapeutic to read because of having similar experiences in the alternative media. On why people can't agree to disagree about issues, .... I have a thought :

it's because those disagreements aren't just about the facts and theories, but also about the directions we need to take to solve the problems.

For example, it is not the same whether the answer to "who does that horrible thing" is : CIA and the FBI, or the Russians, or the Communists, or the Jewish bankers, or the Nazis, and if they were all involved, what are the relations between them? Each answer supports some ideology or worldview, and that can trickle down to choices in daily life.

Where shall we go on vacation, or for permanent stay? To Vienna, the heir of that wonderful Austro-Hungarian empire, or to the Paraguayan countryside, as that's where the banksters' mafia will be least able to catch us in their digital prison?

Likewise, depending on whether one thinks that "vaccines" contain nanotechnology that enables remote control - or not, or whether 9/11 was done with some secret super-weapon or not, or whether people in Pentagon can cause a catastrophic weather in Alberta, Canada or wherever you live, one's feelings, mood and ideas about what is to be done become very different.

To conclude,

The truth isn't just about facts and theories.

The truth is inseparable from our minds, and our minds are inseparable from our feelings and emotions.

But we share the sense that we can choose more in the spirit of the early Christians, rather than in the spirit of 'Judean People's Front vs People's Front of Judea.'

Donald,

Great article (as always).

When you wrote:

“David Paulides, who writes the Missing 411 books, is too cool to answer my emails,” I could totally relate.

Although I never tried reaching out to Luke, I did once email Paulides. And although he did respond, it was so curt (and ignored the point of my email) that it felt almost felt like being ignored. (I still read his books, love his work, and agree that your audience would love to hear your discussion.)

It’s such a shame when “fans” (for lack of a better term) reach out, only to get shrugged off or—in your case—not responded to at all. It really puts a damper on one’s view of their favorite authors, podcasters, etc.

Sometimes I think it’s better not to reach out to any of them to not risk that disappointing experience. And that’s a shame.

Consider yourself lucky, J.L. I've heard from many others about Paulides ignoring their emails. As they say, never meet your heroes. Not that Paulides or any of these others are my heroes, but I admired their work. Thanks!

Answer: NO. Not when leftists are trying to destroy my life.

I agree that the "Woke" Left today is very dangerous. But we have to make allies where we can, and see the big picture.

Expand full comment

What about me? Are Muslims also trying to destroy your life? Do you really think as you say? Do you really think those Leftists are literally trying to destroy your life? Are you trying to oppress their causes? Seeking to destroy their dreams of a kumbaya world? Why can't you see past the narrative you're each being fed and find your common cause? You're directed at each other, so you don't either of you look up at the real problem. You're not more right than they are, or I should say we, because I oppose their cause too. I do not however see their destruction as my cause and I know they are blinded by seeing mine as theirs.
