I don’t know where to begin. I never aspired to be a wealthy person or a millionaire (today billionaire). My needs and most of my wants are provided for but my wants have been reduced to peace of mind and reasonable happiness. I remember early on when I was struggling to make a living with two young kids (mid seventy's I thought if I just made $25K a year I’d be okay. I just had a new roof installed and wrote a check for $35K.

I’m grateful I could do it.

I always thought I had to have this big slug of dough for my kids to inherit when I die. Otherwise I’d look like a failure to them. My daughter at 38 years old made $350K in her real estate company. That’s without a university indoctrination degree. (I never put any of them through college thank God).

I always like to site scripture as an ending.

Matthew 7:28-33

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [l]arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God is largely indifferent. This I know. There are more and more people without homes, they are filling the streets. God may see their needs but does nothing. Man created this problem, you say. Yeah, and it seems only divine intervention will be enough to undue it. Man certainly won't. This world works a certain way and for those who don't fit the mold (and increasingly, those who try to fit the mold) it is a living Hell. For the old, those who cannot bring themselves to chase money simply to survive and those, no matter how hard they work in slavesville, this world is simply not worth the trouble.

Imagine you have no home to go to. Then imagine you can find no way out. You may seek the kingdom of God but you find its number is unlisted, its blessings nonexistent. Religion says God is exclusive, that only the elect will find him. You don't know the secret password? No soup for you!

Any god worth his salt would see the evil engulfing his creation and step in to put a stop to it. But that isn't going to happen, so sorry, boo hoo. Government is not the answer, it is a false god. When you realize there is no one, or thing, to turn to, that's when you understand. There is most certainly a creator, but he doesn't give a damn.

Expand full comment

That's what I've come to believe too. I believe in God mostly because the scientific evidence points strongly towards it. However, I see no evidence whatsoever that he intervenes. All will be well, and all manner of things will be well - eventually - but for the time being, and for reasons unknown, God has left us to linger in a world where evil is in the ascendency. Maybe he expects us to get off our backsides and start fighting it.

He does "give a damn" , howevver, He intends to nothing about it for the most part, Almighty God long ago repented Himself that He had even made man...the Epicurus paradox you reference has been pondered by men far more wise than any alive today, such men as Aristotle, Plato, Nietsche, Freud and Solomon the wisest of all, have all asked the question you pose, why do bad things happen to good people? Why is a righteous man cut down in his youth and the evil man who denies God and gives no quarter to his fellow man continue to a long ripe old age, dying in bed full of years, Solomon spent the entire book of Ecclesiastes pondering these things, wrestling with and trying to make sense of the divine will, he got no answers, only more questions, in the end he wrote one last entry, "let us hear the conclusion to the whole matter, fear God and keep his Commandments for this is the whole duty of man"......You are looking for answers in maze of confusion ...youll find no answers, only frustration and more questions.... If Solomon couldn't rectify these questions, those of us not qualified to tie his intellectual shoes certainly will not...As ive saif before, part of me wishes it were all a fable, a myth, a tale told by a playwright...alas, its not, and everything written will happen, just as its been so eloquently prophesied, we are but pawns in a cosmic game or struggle btw good and evil..read Job..first chapter is enough to understand the rules of the game..its literally a gentlemans bet or challenge btw Almighty God and Lucifer, a game in which God intended to teach a lesson to Lucifer, using lowly man as the unwitting pawn, Yes, Job got back his wealth, yes he got back his lands and such, but lives of his servants, children, grandchildren etc were taken, and for what? To win a bet..a challenge..if that doesnt scare you, im not sure what will..That these Entities will BET on a mans misery and humans lives......uriah

Expand full comment

Well , Rog I guess that's one way to look at it not necessarily the words I would have chosen...its just this simple, These Entities exist outside time and space, they exist and have power in multiple dimensions and in ways we could never understand, to think that they (Almighty God, Lucifer and the true Evil Malevolent force behind Lucifer, as I believe Satan is simply a tool of a greater entity that is nearly as powerful as God himself, but not quite, i believe Evil predates Lucifer as the Word tells us Evil ENTERED into the Archangel Lucifer, he became "Darth Vader" so to speak) could possibly feel as we do, as powerless, as small an insignificant as we do, is simply naive. NOT even Christ could truly understand the human condition, as He still knew who He was, knew His true power and the secrets of the Universe..i.e. He said, Do you really believe that I couldnt call 10k leagues of angels to destroy my enemies in a moment and take my off this cross"...While i appreciate God's mercies, im under NO illusion that he is in any way like man...He couldn't possibly totally understand our minds and condition, as its literally impossible, given his omnipotence....u

What’s your point?

That we cannot possibly understand the forces that are out there, that one can only trust in the mercies of God (even if you believe Him to be tyrannical, and sometimes, He is) is its the only thing we can hold onto...Trust that if we believe in the divine will (even though we have serious issues with it, and not only dont understand it, but even disagree with it) that We will make it thru that doorway into the afterlife, to be with God, and perhaps then it will make some sense...in other words im like Job (and i would hope you could be as well), i will trust His divine will even if he slays me...even if I dont agree with His decisions regarding mankind...we possess a soul, and that soul once born is set on a course for eternity on a journey, a journey that will never end, ....i dont understand God..sometimes I dont agree with Him, Sometimes im angry at him...But i will trust in His mercies even if it kills me...

Like Job of old, my mantra is...."Naked came i from my mothers womb and naked shall I go thither, the Lord hath given and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord....humbly submitted u

I agree that’s it’s a spiritual dilemma - the eternal struggle between good and evil, a feature apparently baked into the human drama. But it does have cycles and periodic cataclysmic developments.

The most disheartening aspect of the current rip-off juggernaut we’re all riding now is that it just keeps rolling on and getting worse, no matter who protests or how obvious the con is. It might take something like the aftermath of nuclear war to finally clear the field.

I am religious about many things. I am religious about brushing my teeth, religious about eating healthy, religious about walking my dog. I read an article by a man who was a young adult just after World War Two, When America was by leaps and bounds the mightiest industrial and technological power on earth. He said that he could quit and walk away from a great job with excellent pay and benefits, and before the day was over he would land a better one, almost effortlessly. Contrast that prosperity with the abject misery the Controllers have created now. The rise of unions correlated with the rise of the Middle Class. As the Controllers have relentlessly eviscerated the unions, so has the Middle Class evaporated. The blowhards of the Left are just as phony as their counterparts on the Right, both squarely in the control cage. All empty rhetoric and theater for the masses. More Medal of Honor recipients have come from Appalachia than any other sector of the U.S. by far. I agree with a lot of what you write and I agree that the working class has been screwed royally. Where we disagree is on our heroes. Your hero is is Huey Long my hero is Ludwig Von Mises who through the promotion of sound economic principles has to be considered one of the greatest champions of the working class ever. Unions were not responsible for the rise of the middle class or the end of child labor. What made all these beneficial things possible was an increase in the productivity of labor brought out by an accumulation of capital that was used to investment in machinery that increased the per capita ratio of capitol to labor. . An example. In a poor country in sub Saharan Africa if a ditch needs to be dug one hundred people with a shovel might be hired to dig that ditch. In the United States one person with a bulldozer could be hired to dig that same ditch. The important thing to note in this example is that it is the addition of capital (the bulldozer) to labor that makes possible the higher wage rate of the worker and the accumulation of capital is the characteristic feature of what has been derided as laissez faire capitalism.

I can go on and on about things that are blamed on llaissez faire capitalism but are actually the result of sabotage of the entire system. Regulatory capture, bankster bail outs, and trade restrictions are few issues that come to mind. As to open borders, I suggest you read an important talk given by Lew Rockwell at the Mises Circle entitled: Open Borders: A Libertarian Reappraisal.

Just for the record the amazing prosperity America saw after WW2 was thanks to three reasons:

#1. The rest of the Industrialized World had been bombed into the Stone Age.

#2. The Military-Industrial Complex was just getting started. They were ramping up for the Cold War. Toys like the "The Convair B-36 Peacemaker" (Peacemaker... what a COSMIC Joke! They should have named it the "Desolation Maker"!) required lots and lots of resources, employing miners, smelters...

#3. Tons of research was going on. A college degree in chemistry, physics, mathematics, or even biology was the ticket to a cushy job in a laboratory.

And, of course, all of this required an attendant infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, pipelines... and also spun off multiple subsidaries for the "disposable income" such as sports and entertainment.

It is my vice and weakness, especially on hot days when it is ice cold and on winter days when it is piping hot. I get eggs for $1 dollar a dozen from the farmer down the road, in exchange for mealworms to feed his chickens as a subsidy. I have enough stored rice, beans, and oatmeal to last a year.

I discovered the mint when a neighbor planted some mint in her expansive spice garden, just so she could say she had mint. Some time later she complained the mint was invading her tomatoes, and asked me if I wanted any of it. So I plucked enough to stuff my strainer full and steeped it with hot water from the kettle for three hours. That makes a super-concentrated tea that I dilute 30-1... two cups makes about two gallons. To a pint I add about three tablespoons of cane sugar. (I won't get the processed crap from Haiti or Dominica- even though it is MUCH cheaper- because the plantations are run by pederasts and they traffic their slaves when they are not laboring them for a pittance...)

I also transplanted some of the mint into a corner of my pumpkin patch- which also has a dunghill thanks to the discovery of a 75-year-old strainer from a defunct dairy farm I happened onto when digging a hole for a post for a house built in 1953- and, after a few days of stress, is now established and growing like weeds. (The stuff makes great ground cover.)

Yes, 99.9% of Americans- even the ones that watch Alex Jones- have NO CLUE what is coming. When they pull the plug it is going to be sudden, severe, and permanent. And I always said the FEMA camps are for the chosen, not the prisoners. The suburbanites will be busting down the doors to the prison cities where they get to watch Bugs Bunny and suck on popsicles.

The reason 2.1 pounds of sirloin costs $30 dollars is because...

A. The rancher has to pay the BLM for the privilege to graze his cattle, or pay taxes on the land he owns.

B. The feed lot has to pay taxes for inspections and infrastructure.

C. The trucker has to pay for diesel fuel, maintenance, insurance, and, of course, his skyrocketing mortgage and other costs...

E. The distributor... same as above...

D. The Grocer has to pay a bevy of taxes, utilities, user fees, unemployment insurance compensation...

F. Oh, and refrigeration costs are not cheap either.

Finally, in a subsidized economy where 100 feet of stainless steel hose is cheaper than a bag of GRASS SEED, anything is possible.

So pray for Don Quixote to take out all those worthless windmills, and the Cristeros to take out the freak who was just s-elected El Presidente of Mexico.

I cringe every time you abuse the label 'conservative'.

Same thing every time I hear the words 'Christian' or 'religion' negatively stereotyped.

MSM and political hacks do not have a monopoly on how generic terms must be defined.

That's how they brainwash people; by teaching people to use words according to their definitions

and their word association tricks.

People of the land (peasantry) most likely would be conservative in dress, manners, traditions, and

aesthetics. 'Progress' has become ingrained in the culture as always a good thing.

Funny how the Devil is in the details though; these new mRNA whackzinnes are called revolutionary advances in medical technology (like fluoride in our water... ugh) and so much progress you couldn't

shake a stick at it. How about tying the word conservative to one who appreciated the good things of the past, like clean air, clean water, undefiled foods, gardening, unprocessed food, honesty, integrity, environmental preservation, living within budgets, fairness, and decency such that our ancestors would not be ashamed of us..

btw. Slavery was never abolished. In my humble opinion, conscription is slavery.

Lincoln created twice as many slaves by forcing conscription both on the North and the South.

Imagine how hard it was for a man to leave his farm, family, and life behind. Then Various other

wars used conscription, and it is making a return on the world scene just in time to depopulate

the survivors of the Trump/Biden medical mass murders.

Child labor has also never been in the conversation about slavery much.

I look at the term conservative as indicating someone who wants to "conserve" things. Of course, I'd love to conserve clean air and water, unprocessed food, honesty, integrity, etc. But there is little worth conserving in America 2.0. I wind up agreeing with those who label themselves conservative on many issues, especially related to culture. My beef with conservatives revolves around their trust in our out of control, militarized police. Their refusal to be bold enough to talk about the anti-White agenda and the Great Replacement. Obviously, even the most milquetoast conservative is preferable to insane "Woke" liberals. I agree with most of what you said here, Scott. Thanks.

The words "Conservative" and "Liberal" have lost all meaning for me, especially in the context of modern American Politics... if one can even call it that. Back in the 1980's, a Liberal in the US would have been a fodgy conservative in the USSR.

I now realize that many of the '70's liberals were very well-intentioned, if misled.

Many of the terms we use are necessarily vague, but not meaningless, since we are

in control of our own language and meanings. If I say the word 'car', you have no idea

what car I'm referring to. If I say, "He's an artist,, people will be unsure what kind of 'art'?

Same thing with words like 'religion', 'God', 'progress', 'conservation', 'science'.... "TRUST THE SCIENCE!" "Patriot Movement", "healthcare", "national defense".... etc ... etc...

The scum have been weaponizing language and using it against us for a long time.

I worked for a company way back in the 80s that already was teaching salesmen to use

neuro-linguistic-programming and overt assertiveness to basically steal from customers.

I quit after the first regional sales meeting where the Nazi-types laid down the law on how business was to be conducted. It didn't comport with my Catholic upbringing.

Likewise, it appears that the transhumanist goals of the WEF & their collaborators is to

end human life as we have known it, exterminating some, editing the genes of some, merging with machines, etc, so even the word 'human' is theirs to define unless we re-assert our right to give language meaning. In the Arthur C Clarke novel Childhood's End, I think that the idea of 'progress' according to atheistic principles was expressed as

a complete separation of children from parents, and a complete clear cut from the roots of our culture, as the children 'evolved' into a new Overlord community lacking individuality, thanks to the 'alien' presence. Similarly, the movie Village of The Damned presented children as super-evolved beings; products of the insemination of women by aliens.

"The Left also undoubtedly disagreed with my contention that immigration, especially illegal immigration, was the primary cause of plunging blue collar wages and diminishing benefits."

I've been there. done that. The primary causes of plunging blue collar wages were taxes and regulations, especially from OSHA and the Environmental Protection Agency. As for diminishing benefits, those can be blamed on the surge in liability lawsuits. When judges and juries were awarding millions of dollars to people who tripped on a crack in a sidewalk or were burned by hot coffee at McDonalds, the insurance companies jacked their premiums to the moon across the board, rather than have their investors take losses. I watched several large companies in southern Pennsylvania- Hamilton Watch, Armstrong Cork, Alcoa Aluminum, High Steel, Caterpillar Tractor, Bently Furniture, just to name a few- move operations overseas. Moreover, liability legislation, such as mandatory car insurance- they called it "No Fault Insurance" back in the day... what a cosmic joke... and interest debt became part of the overhead of the "Blue Collar Worker" resulting in Union demands for Higher Wages.

The average American had a car he has to insure, a suburban home or townhouse, was saving for the skyrocketing college tuition for junior, and must pay a bevy of taxes at the Federal, State, and Local Levels. Back in the day, the average Chinaman rode a bicycle and lived in a shack by a dirt road and ate rice and meat maybe twice a week, while an American expects beef on the table every day. That was the scenario in the 1970's. So moving manufacturing overseas was a no brainer. And, of course, we can thank Henry Kissinger and the "Grand Chessboard" for making all that possible by opening trade with mainland China, because not enough Filipinos or Japanese or South Koreans existed to fill the demand.

Socialism always has been and always will be a dismal failure. While I am certainly not in favor of a Robber Baron economy, neither do I want the Gov't in charge of Welfare. If somebody is truly destitute and has no family to rely upon, the Churches used to fill that vacuum. (Today the churches are nothing more than rackets. The pastors collect from their "flock" and also collect gov't subsidies. Not a bad setup.)

"Franklin Roosevelt grew to despise Huey Long. He considered him one of the two most “dangerous” men in the country, along with Douglas MacArthur. Huey’s 'Share our Wealth' society had grown to some twelve million members at the time of his death."

First off let us dispose of the notion that Douglas MacArthur was one of the Good Guys. This guy was Freemasonic False Opposition, an Ancestor of the "Trumpenstein Project". MacArthur was "just following orders" when he commanded the troops that broke up the Great Demonstration of World War One Pensioners who were cheated out of their benefits by a recalcitrant Federal Gov't. MacArthur was also part of the Great World War Two Pacific Theatre conspiracy as, for a full day after Pearl Harbor, he refrained from attacking the Japanese on what is now Taiwan so that they could best the British at SIngapore- it was part of the script. Then, after the end of the war, MacArthur supervised the looting of gold the Japanese had looted from China and the Pacific Rim, while simultaneously protecting the Yamato Dynasty. Not a bad show at all.

As for his firing during the Korean War because he wanted to bomb China- PURE THEATRE.

My jury is still out on Huey Long. His story is very similar to that of JFK. Was he controlled opposition that was allowed to do a great deal of good, like the Austrian Painter, or was he for real, and getting too close to the operations of the conspiracy for comfort? I guess those answers will have to wait for Judgment Day.

I appreciate that, WW. You make some good points. Btw, I didn't list MacArthur along with Huey Long because I admire him. I wrote about him, and a young George Patton, leading the military action against the WWI Bonus Army in "Crimes and Cover-Ups." Thanks.
