I would amend that somewhat. Years ago they did a good job at pretending to administer compassionate care, all the while raiding medicaide, insurance plans, and the coffers of donors. Now, they do not even pretend. The good doctors disappeared way back in the 1920's. The good nurses persisted into the mid 1970's, and then they disappeared as well.

I noticed a change in nursing when they switched from hospital training to University degree training.
