“Disinformation” is a word we hear often today, along with its companion piece, “misinformation.” These are offshoots of “hate speech,” which is also used interchangeably for the same purpose; to censor discouraging words. These Orwellian terms have essentially turned criticism of authority into Thought Crime.
There is a thin line between justifiable criticism and annoying whining. As a Hall of Fame complainer, I know it’s not easy to sense the distinction. But there is virtually nothing or no one with any power in our society today that doesn’t deserve to be criticized. Skewered. Lambasted. And yet, most of the population has been indoctrinated to such an extent that they rise up in defense of the most indefensible individuals and institutions imaginable, whenever a Thought Criminal points out that they aren’t wearing any clothes. In the recent tragedy in North Carolina, where FEMA and law enforcement officials at all levels proved to be such an impediment to relief efforts, sheeple were all over the internet, figuratively yelling, “So you think you could do better?” Well, yes, actually, I do. I think any person not inspired by Satan himself could do better, simply by not stopping rescues and supply deliveries.
We expect the state controlled media to make excuses for the nonstop corruption, incompetence, and now insanity, that rules our crumbling society. After all, they are paid very well be apologists for it. So it was entirely in character for them to dismiss “baseless conspiracy theories” regarding FEMA and Hurricane Helene. The video reports from people on the scene, who’d been personally impacted, didn’t matter to them. It was all just “disinformation.” The victims of the hurricane were simply lying, or imagining, that government officials were blocking relief efforts. They imagined the National Guard helicopter which hovered low enough in the air to blow away supplies. There is video of that, but it’s still “disinformation.” Videos and eyewitness testimony are irrelevant when the “experts” speak. And the “experts” always find that criticism of authority is, in fact, “disinformation.” Dangerous “disinformation.”
They’ve been at this game for a long time. In the 1950s, they thoroughly demonized Senator Joe McCarthy. His attempt to investigate Soviet infiltration into our government, particularly the Army, was mocked as a “witch hunt.” They hadn’t invented the term “disinformation” yet, and wouldn’t have dared to call it “hate speech.” The American public was still too gullible in that era, but they were rocket scientists compared to the dumbed down sheeple today. As I detail in my new book American Memory Hole, McCarthy had nothing to do with blacklisting, in Hollywood or anywhere else. Hollywood figures were questioned by the House Unamerican Activities Committee. McCarthy served in the Senate. But that doesn’t matter to the court historians, who are the gatekeepers of the past. Everything ever promulgated by the establishment about Joe McCarthy is 100 percent, USDA choice disinformation.
As I’m sure you know, I got started down these rabbit holes by researching the JFK assassination. And quickly discovering that everything said and written by the state controlled media and court historians about the event was 100 percent, USDA choice disinformation. Literally, the only thing they got right was the date and location. Dan Rather, one of my journalistic heroes as a teenager for his tough questioning of Richard Nixon, first burst into prominence as a local CBS reporter in Dallas. “Covering” the assassination in his trademark, “fake news” style. At a time when no one had seen the home movie taken of the assassination by Abraham Zapruder, Rather came on the air and excitedly disclosed that he had, and that the president’s head moved forward dramatically after shots were fired. As anyone who has ever seen the Zapruder film knows, this is a huge lie. JFK’s head in fact moved violently backwards. Violating the laws of physics, as Oswald was supposedly firing from behind.
It isn’t fun being a Thought Criminal. That was especially the case in the late 1970s, when so few of us existed. Fortunately, my wit enabled me to still be a popular party guest, but I knew where to draw the line. As has become painfully apparent to me over the years, I influenced almost no one. One old girlfriend did become a lesbian, as I may have mentioned before. So if I played a hand in that, I guess that’s something. I have stopped discussing Truth in social gatherings. I stopped after my rant about 9/11 really angered some good writer friends. I realized that it was impossible to enlighten them. I recognized this as well while teaching a course on the JFK assassination for my county adult education program. There was always a lone nutter in the bunch, and my impressive Power Point presentation failed to impress them. The old Thomas Gray chestnut comes to mind- where ignorance is bliss, ‘tis folly to be wise.
I discovered governmental disinformation everywhere. The RFK and MLK assassinations. The Ruby Ridge tragedy, where the government set up Randy Weaver, a racial separatist- not a “supremacist”- who merely wanted to be left alone with his family in the wilderness. Waco, where government tanks murdered American citizens- in their own home- using a poisonous gas banned by the Geneva Convention for use in warfare. The state controlled media were unanimous in support of serial conspirator Bill Clinton, and smeared any truth about Waco as “conspiracy theory.” It was the 1990s, and we had yet to see the widespread use of the terms “racist,” and certainly not “disinformation.” When the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City blew up, General Ben Partin and others who stated the obvious- that the magic fertilizer bomb couldn’t have done all that damage- were ignored. Timothy McVeigh received a monstrously unfair trial and was executed faster than anyone in Death Row history.
If some of us mention the U.S. Secret Service official memorandum, which describes Clinton White House counsel Vince Foster’s body being found inside his car, that would now be labeled “disinformation.” Foster’s body was officially discovered in Fort Marcy Park, on the ground. Not in his car. So it’s a government memo saying this, not a “conspiracy theory.” Just like the passport of one of the supposed 9/11 hijackers, being found on top of all the pulverized steel and debris, somehow unscathed. They admit that- even bragged about it, so it’s not a “conspiracy theory.” Just like the fact they tell you that the temperature from the magical jet fuel cocktail got up to a certain temperature, which was not nearly as high as their science tells us is necessary for steel to melt. And yet, in the next breath, they’ll insist that it has been “proven” that the fuel melted the beams. That’s 100%, USDA choice disinformation.
We know that the CIA ran a program called Operation Mockingbird, which was designed to install friendly assets into key positions in the mainstream media. This is almost certainly still being done. Anderson Cooper acknowledges being recruited as a CIA intern while in college. Many key “journalists” have been members of the CFR, and/or attended the yearly Bilderberg meetings. All on the promise of not reporting it to the public. Reporters not reporting. Kind of like all the “journalists” today who are overtly campaigning against the First Amendment. Isn’t it odd for representatives of a “free press” to oppose free speech? It’s a “democracy” thing, you wouldn’t understand. And kindly Walter Cronkite, capping off his career by bragging about “proudly sitting at the right hand of Satan.” Cronkite, “the most trusted name in journalism,” was the voice of the giant owl at the yearly Bohemian Grove occult festivities for decades.
We are dealing with people who claim that being skeptical of vaccines is “medical misinformation.” We’re “COVID deniers.” Or “election deniers.” Who believe, as expressed recently by longtime Deep State sycophant John Kerry, “Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to hammer [disinformation] out of existence. What we need is to win...the right to govern by hopefully winning enough votes that you're free to be able to implement change." It is obvious from his comments, that the “change” Kerry desires is an end to the First Amendment. The New York Times has editorialized three times in the last month, about how the First Amendment “goes too far.” Free speech is fine, but not too free. Not the kind of speech that “offends,” or opposes the corrupt state. As they remind us often, “The First Amendment doesn’t protect hate speech.” The word “hate” doesn’t appear in the Constitution. Again, 100%, USDA choice disinformation.
I just retweeted something about a judge ruling that hand counted ballots “disserves the public.” Is there a better way to circumvent vote fraud than hand counting? Millions of Democrats surely agree, just as they believe it’s “racist” to have to show identification to vote. You know, to stop that whole dead voting/voting early and often thing. It’s already “disinformation” to question the electoral process. It’s inevitable that eventually voting for the “wrong” candidate will be labeled as a “threat to democracy.” This is Judicial Review in all its tyrannical glory. And no one seems to oppose it. The Constitution is pretty clear. Judges shouldn’t be the arbiters of what is and isn’t constitutional. I think I’m the first one since Thomas Jefferson to protest this, but then again I’m always protesting something. I have a section on Judicial Review in American Memory Hole.
We are living in the age of “Fake News.” Donald Trump’s catch phrase may ultimately be his enduring contribution to society. Because of this, very few people trust anything they hear from the media. However, millions are focused on the “disinformation” they hear from Thought Criminals like me. Because the same state controlled media, which doles out real disinformation like candy on Halloween, tells them that the “disinformation” comes from alternative sources. The ones who are pointing out all the giant, corrupt elephants in the room. Not from them. Everyday, our tyrannical leaders, their parrots in the kept press, and all their cherished “experts,” regurgitate more Big Lies than Hitler ever dreamed of. Hitler actually wasn’t endorsing the “Big Lie,” he was accusing “the Jews” of lying bigly, as Trump might say. That’s not an endorsement of Hitler, but we should strive for accuracy.
We have to confront their lies whenever, and wherever we can. Saying Oswald killed JFK demands a rebuttal. So does saying 19 crazed Arabs did 9/11, armed with box cutters and plastic knives. Or that Trump was fairly convicted of 34 legitimate felonies. Or that research into widely reported mass casualty events is “offensive,” and “harassment” of parents. Or that White people should feel guilt over things allegedly done by long dead White people over 150 years ago. Demand a definition of “racism,” or “anti-Semitism.” Ask how “hate speech” is compatible with free speech. Ask just who determines what “disinformation” or “misinformation” is. Don’t submissively accept ridiculous slogans like “diversity is our strength.” Call out the transgender lunacy for what it is. If you shame young girls for having abortions, then shame mothers for pushing their children into surgical mutilation. With huge smiles.
George Orwell’s 1984 reads like a prophecy today. What are the “fact checkers,” and the cancel culture in general, other than the Thought Police? The great mass of duped sheeple, the majority of the population in every country, are identical to Orwell’s Proles. Distracted by sports, and gambling, and alcohol. Submitting willingly to a tiny minority within their midst. Children informed on their parents in Orwell’s Oceana. Try stopping your child from “transitioning,” and see how quickly they inform on you. We saw hints of the routine (and surely fake) shortages of products in Oceana, during the unconstitutional COVID lockdown. How far from saying War is Peace is the Biden administration’s claim that they have overseen a strong economy? Ambrose Bierce defined a “fib” as “a lie that has not cut its teeth.” Our leaders are way beyond fibbing. They are all pathological liars. And they lie about everything.
If you’ve read my hidden history books, you know just how dishonestly almost every major figure has been portrayed by the court historians. If we remain under the iron boot of these mad authoritarians, then in fifty years, the history books written by their court historians will inform the gullible public that the internet was a hotbed of evil “conspiracy theories” and “disinformation,” until our beloved government officials, in conjunction with upstanding “Woke” corporate leaders, reigned it in. Cancelled all the Thought Criminals, and prosecuted the most high profile ones. Rewrote the First Amendment, to exclude “hate speech,” and “hateful” religions. Banned the Fourth and Tenth Amendments. There will be more pages devoted to Al Sharpton and George Floyd, than Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry. There will be laudatory tributes to the wonderful presidencies of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
You can find out just how much the court historians and state sponsored media have lied to you in American Memory Hole. So many of you have told me you’re reading it, and I would be very grateful if you could rate it on Amazon, if not write a brief review here: American Memory Hole. Numbers are important in every way for books, and so far the book only has ten ratings, which is frankly disappointing. It’s getting the usual blackout from the mainstream that my work receives. Not a single negative review, no online blog calling it “disinformation.” I’m obviously entrenched in the “first they ignore you” status. But they can’t ignore millions of us. Don’t be afraid to be a Thought Criminal. You’re standing up for truth, justice, and the America 1.0 way. It’s liberating. We’re in a spiritual war. Keep the faith.
You are right on target, Don. I meet so very few people that want to even discuss and/or admit the topics you brought up in your article. When I discuss or even hint at the political freak show that is dancing over our graves, all I am told is "I don't discuss politics". So with that, I say, "Well when do you? This is happening because people have ignored it for so long, now here we are". Then the wall goes up over their faces. At least 98% of humans want to feel safe and warm in their little comfy bubbles, pretending that nothing will ever affect them. That the degradation of society is not really happening. I'd ask Scotty to beam me up, but he is fake too.
Mr. Jeffries, you are fast becoming my favorite "protester about everything" and this relevant and enlightening essay, no less.
Thank you sir, don't ever stop, much less slow down your exposes !
