Another fine message that needs to be read by all Americans

I for one can say that most people in America are in a sad state of affairs in mind, body, and soul and that most veterans are brainwashed to the hilt which I'm sorry to say is the case with most veterans who think that they are out doing some patriotic thing by joining the military and fighting make believe enemies.

I can support that statement because I'm a veteran myself, to make a long story short I joined the Air Force in 2003 for purely economic reasons which I'm sorry to say is the reason that most people join the non stop death machine in the United States in the first place. I didn't join until I was 24 years old just to put that out there, the first day that I got to boot camp I knew I had made a mistake and that my time in the military would be a downward spiral and it was for the twenty eight months that I was there.

My career went no where I got stationed at a base the was notorious for having low morale and bad leadership concerning the NCO'S and the commissioned officer's, my shop in logistics was the worst from top to bottom and my co-workers were all nothing but a joke, and don't get me started on the drug usage and alcohol abuse on base as well not to mention the raping of female soldiers that went on while I was there.

Thank god I didn't deploy anywhere or was sent off to war and yes I would have resisted that if it had occurred and I would have sat in jail for it and I would have been proud for doing so, I ended up getting medically discharged for a multitude of problems including developing cancer all by the age of 26. After words the battle with the VA took place, in which it took me nearly 10 years to get my 100% disability rating, the VA I can say for a certain fact is one of the worst organizations I have ever had to deal with in my life but the Social Security Administration did me right it was smooth sailing's with them I even got medicare so it was no more VA for me thank god.

But I digress no one and I mean no one should ever join the military and I mean ever!!! fast forward to today and I'm disabled, and I can no longer work nor will I ever be able to hold a job again. I still deal with PTSD from issues that went on while I was in the military and I'm sad to say that if the U.S. economic system wasn't the way that it is perhaps more people would have opportunities for self improvement.

Donald you are right about the wars and the military as a whole it's nothing but a lie and a sick man's joke unfortunately most people are still failing to see that and they never will it's one of the reasons I avoid veterans in general I have no time to listen to someone who is still brainwashed by nothing but propaganda. You keep speaking truth to power Donald about the military, the military industrial complex, and those no good recruiter's who are vultures praying on the poor in America, again long time fan of your's Donald and enjoy your writings and the pod cast.

Thanks to all the kind comments here, but I wanted to reply specifically to you. This is the kind of input I value the most; personal stories from those who must deal with this horrific, corrupt system of ours. I wish you all the best.

Bingo. And Smedley Butler was a true American hero when he exposed the attempted fascist coup in the early 30's.....funny how you don't read about that in any of our history books. Absolutely GREAT little essay.
