My wife and I have determined to build our own world if we’re not happy with this one - i.e., to focus more inward than outward. We’ve even moved from a small city into nature, which definitely helps.

Yet we cannot help but to actively challenge stupidity with data. Amazing how many of these covidiots don’t have any data - they just repeat what they’ve heard on TV. When I mention Israeli studies about how natural immunity is far superior to the vaxx, they look at me like I’m from Mars. Just how people stopped believing in natural immunity is beyond me. Fear porn perhaps.

Your writing speaks to me - and not only because I agree with about 99% of what you write :). I’m originally from NVa (Tysons Corner) and am only a bit younger than you … so I also get all of the references and I can picture the traffic on Route 7 even now :).

Parting words - take comfort in that it APPEARS that real data is leaking out into the general public regarding Covid. Joe Rogan, Aaron Rodgers (who speaks far more intellectually & informed about covid than Fauci ever has), Martin Kulldorff, Pierre Kory, Peter McCullough, etc - they are out there fighting each and every day. Add to that data emerging from the “overvaxxed” countries like UK, Israel, Singapore, etc who are “struggling” with “cases” whilst only 6% vaxxed Africa appears to be post “pandemic”. Even a fool cannot help but see the illogical aspect of that. Add to that the studies about the non-effectiveness (best case) of the vaxx - yes, we’re dealing with boosters now but imagine the scenario whereby people are being asked to take another product because that very same product doesn’t work as advertised. Sheer madness. And some double-vaxxed are waking up in a similar way to that famous Far Side comic about the cow saying “heh, wait a minute. I’ve been eating grass. Grass!” Lol

All of this reminds me of one of my fav founding fathers quote - this one from Samuel Adams that seems quite appropriate for these dystopic times: “It does not take a majority to prevail … but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men”…

Keep setting those brushfires, Don!

Funny how not too long ago we could pity those who lived in and endured their pathetic govermental imposed living conditions. I remember being appalled at the sad state of the Lima Peru airport in 1986 when I had a brief layover...Men with assault rifles patrolling the herds... And now I just bleat bah bah as I queu up in TSA line. 2022 and beyond is going to be very interesting indeed.

I know exactly what you are saying. I'm 72 and happy that I will not be around for the end of the US.

I'm a non-white woman and I totally sympathize with you. I want to be treated FAIRLY, not as a "privileged minority". I thought we were done judging people on skin color? I have plenty of white friends as well as friends of all races and honestly, who cares about what race they are? Why are we devolving into tribes? How did that work for places like South Africa? America used to be a meritocracy. As a non-white woman, I knew I had to work harder but most of the white men I knew were sympathetic. Occasionally someone was a racist, but it's not like there aren't black and Asian and Hispanic racists too. We are all human beings. Maybe we could try being kinder to each other and stop with the idiotic and anger driven wokeism. I have white friends I love dearly. I don't want them discriminated against any more that any other group.

Oh, and I NEVER wear the darn mask.
