I think those who have gone off-grid are more closer to reality than anyone, and personally, they are probably the smartest. I remember Jeanne Dixon. Wasn't one of the WH Residents one of her followers? Honestly, who could believe her crap. But there is always someone out there who falls for the latest schtick because they need someone to lead them to hell. Me - I think I'll just keep my common sense, ears and eyes wide open while working that 3rd eye.

I shouldn't have inferred that those who are off-grid, and/or prepping, are wrong, or not more enlightened than the sleeping masses. Yes, I think Nixon was a fan of Dixon's, if I'm not mistaken. And, of course, Nancy Reagan had Ronnie making decisions at the whims of her personal astrologer. Thanks, Fran!

Yes, it was Ronnie Reagan. Imagine taking advice from a "psychic", but then again, look who we've got now. Whether Stepford Biden is taking barking orders from Barack or Hillary, I guess they are one and the same Demons.

I am pretty much off grid. I have been picking apples for months. And tomorrow am going to gather walnuts. Have not shopped at a supermarket in years.

You are obviously not off the Internet.

You're right about that. I have a few JooToob and Rumble channels I chat in, plus I have a substack, and I play card games on occasion, like solataire, and maybe chess. but I stay clear of the whole social media dumpster fire, and don't do shopping online. And when this crappy chromebook finally dies, you won't see me any more. Regards.

I stopped using my fifth Chromebook because it stopped recording my extensive bookmarks.

I replaced it with a much better former Windows 10 laptop after having a geek install a terabyte SSD and Ubuntu Linux in it.

Youtube and Rumble can be very much like social media with their subscriptions, which I eschew.

The problem with windows is it tends to self destruct. All my versions of Windows ultimately had problems with the "registry" that cause the computer to eventually freeze. So you have to get programs to keep cleaning it up. With a chromebook all you have to do is press 2 keys simultaneously and it absolutely cleans the drive.

Yes, JooToob is horrendous. Rumble not much better.

If you were following Brian Krebs at krebsonsecurity.com, you would know that nothing has changed at Microsoft. Chromebook is simply Google's sorry Linux distro, which I gave up on when it stopped recording my bookmarks while continuing to appear to do so. Chromebooks don't have drives, doing everything in their cloud, from which they can sell it.

The Internet has always required superior vetting skills and punished those lacking or refusing to use them.

Dixon and her buddy Ruth Montgomery (who had a ego-clash over a co-authored book, and then never spoke again) were CIA assets. They were working on the New Age project. Montgomery came out of Baylor University, a known spook manufacturing hub.

Ah yes, who can forget that one? Remember John Anderson who could also read minds? We had some pretty fakes out there. Did they get their experience from watching our government hard at work, or is it visa versa? LOL

There was a whole cadre of "operatives." I'm dating myself....Back then the public was so absolutely captured, so gullible, so open, especially mentally, that I believe the so called, "psychics" and such were just agents using actors and various devices and deceptions to keep the dummies and their attention "captivated." None of it was real then, just like now. It worked. then, just like now.

We didn't have the Internet back then either. I don't know whether its a curse or a salvation. The news channels was all the info we had, other than the corrupted local newspapers (that which I quite receiving years ago!). People nowadays have a broader Choice, so there is no excuse not to investigate what you hear or one can remain Comfortably Numb.

I think you nailed it with this bit:

"The entire system is rotten to the core, and every level of power is run by those with no scruples or principles."

The whole society - public and private organisations both - is set up as a system of hierarchical 'management' structures, ostensibly to manage processes, but in practice to 'manage' other human beings.

And what group is naturally attracted to controlling others? Psychopaths - who have an affliction that exists on a spectrum of severity, which is therefore likely to be reflected in every organisation's hierarchy - and eventually leads to chaos and collapse.

We need to change the model. To what, I'm not sure - I'm no good at predictions either.

100% over the target. Yes, the only ones who want to work in this society are the mentally deranged and the diabolical narcissists. The normal people cleared out over a generation ago.

The Bodysnatchers: My Dad was a good manager in a company of good managers. They shared the wealth with employees (associates they called them) and every three months buses took everyone in the company to a "Marion on the Move" meeting at an auditorium in downtown Kansas City.

There my Dad and other executives would explain the direction of the company and share information on how the company was doing. Very few secrets were kept away from the associates. The associates were also given stock in the company as part of their pay. All of the associates had skin in the game.

The company was a huge success. The stock price soared. Janitors who kept their stock until the merger became wealthy.

Yes, I admit it was a generalisation, but has become increasingly common over the last 50 years or so. My father (and his father) were also 'good' managers in a small office cleaning business and were absolutely respected by all of their probably hundreds of employees over the years. His focus was always on the employees welfare and I remember him getting numerous gifts of home-made wine and other produce from employees every christmas. When my grandfather was in charge, an employee - due to having no surviving relatives - actually left his house to him when he died for helping him out pro bono with his taxes over the years (he was an accountant by training). Sadly, this now seems to be the exception.

So true, Don! I used to get scared at all the doomsday scenarios, especially the Nuclear Annihilation we were promised my entire childhood. Then the prepper stuff you mention, etc., like if there was a worldwide nuclear annihilation, I'd want to live on my water and dried food for 30 more days. All the smart people predicted such things, that this war and that war were imminent, dark winters for the unvaxed, but somehow "planes" "flying" into buildings stumped them all. And hang gliders.

So years ago I refused to live in fear any longer. I instead remind myself: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only." Matthew 23:35-36.

I'll trust God on this one. The Christians thumping their chests for war should remember to do the same.

It truly is incredible how THEY have been able to keep all those plates still spinning.

Some day however………?

The American people could not handle all out war, with American boys (and girls I suppose) daily body counts in the hundreds. That’s what you’d be looking at.

My belief is that those in power are never, and I mean never going to relinquish control no matter what happens November 2024. Does that mean they’ll flip the table over beforehand? Whatever it takes they’ll do it.

Oh, I’ve got my share of prepper stockpiles.

A great piece Donald as always! When you said "that there is no human answer for the level of corruption and injustice in the world today" I just wanted to say as a Christian for the last 25 years(i'm 66) it goes back to the fall of mankind back in Genesis, the world and man are cursed, hence the wickedness & violence!

The only way to bridge this is through Christ, unfortunately this world is doomed at some future point, but nobody knows when, and anyone who says they do is a lair, Hal Lindsey being a good example!

If it wasn't for Gods restraining hand this world would be unbearable for all of us! But I think he is slowly pulling back to show us all how vile everything is! Greetings from Ireland!
