There may have been outrage over Flint and Katrina, but not much was done for the people of color n either place

Of course you're right. They don't do anything to help anyone who's poor. But they don't even give poor Whites virtue signaling rhetoric. Thanks.

It’s okay now, Don. The WOKEsters are outraged because they figured out that they could blame Trump. Nothing makes them happier!

No one is talking about the PFAS nightmare in MI either.

It's hard to keep up with all the derailments and catastrophes now. Who knew things were this exciting? Our honorable gay married Transportation Secretary tells us there are over 1,000 train derailments a year. What? If that's even remotely true, why haven't they been reported in the past? And why are our illustrious leaders happy with an average of 3 train derailments every day? Thanks.

So many horrendous things happened after Katrina. And no one was really criticized, let alone held accountable. Thanks.

I read somewhere that in Ohio is the most prime farmland in the U.S. too, not claiming correlation is related but considering all the controversy and war on farmers and farmland globally it is worth noting I think.

Prayers to all those in Ohio, this is brutal beyond words. People need to start standing up now and I say that as a guy living in Canada, which sometimes seems like the land of the docile, glorified human livestock wandering around oblivious thinking it's business as usual w/out seeing business is trying actively to kill and oppress them, but I digress.

Really disgraceful that NONE of the major news outlets are covering this, that I've seen. Thankfully as usual, most of the main online news is liked Jimmy Dore, Redacted, etc. etc. Thank you Don.

Farmers have been under attack for a long time, Jon. Maybe Bill Gates is planning to buy the farmland- he already owns more farmland than anyone in America. Might be perfect now for his beloved GMO products. Thanks.

UV is quite effective at destroying 2,3,7,8-TCDD, but ain't much of that in cloud-covered East Palestine in winter. It does not degrade well when covered in dirt. This isn't the first time. Lloyd's of London paid corrupt chemistry professors to publish in the Journal of Chemical Education absolute not only falsehood, but physical impossibility about Seveso, even if Captain Kirk's transporter were involved. They invoked an unknown, exothermic reaction requiring transmutation. It escaped notice because it was only claimed in an illustration. The real cause was leaving the heater on over the weekend. Apparently, insurance fraud is SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

Expand full comment

If you mean fraud by insurance corporations, I agree. It's funny that, if a person cheats an insurer, it's a felony, insurance fraud, subject to criminal law, but when an insurer cheats a person, it's " insurance bad faith" and is a civil matter requiring a lawsuit brought by the cheated insured person.

All around. Was Lucky Larry Silverstein jailed for fraud? Insurance in general is a mafia racket.

Remember Don, how the movie: The China Syndrome came out a mere 12 days before the disaster at Three Mile Island? I recall at the time thinking: what an incredible coinkydink.

I thought the crash was between 50 cars, not BOXcars. Given that it’s Midwest and the winter I didn’t see anything too unusual about that in passing. There are always big pile ups on the highway and car accidents in the winter.

Now that I know I was totally mistaken about what’s going on -why isn’t there more information for those of us who live in surrounding areas/states? Ohio is part of the Great Lakes region and I’m sure this is going to affect our water supply more than what’s being said. They said Asian carp wasn’t a problem until it was. 😔.

Yes, where is the coverage? Tucker Carlson, but no one else. And what about those "Climate Change" activists? Seems like this ought to catch their interest. Maybe someone needs to call the chemical "racist." Thanks.

80 years of socialism with do that to a country. The more innovation that comes, the greater the need to service it. Horses traveled just about anywhere. Vehicles need roads, repairs and a billion signs telling them what they can and can't do. Sure, a car is a nicer ride but at quite the cost.

Expand full comment

Gorgo, I would argue that it's been a socialism that largely provided few benefits to the public. As I've noted many times, we pay enough taxes for a cradle to grave nanny state, but receive almost nothing in return in the way of services. It's more of a socialism for the rich, as I described in my book "Survival of the Richest." Thanks.

And that's the problem with redistribution schemes

Expand full comment

No one has tried the Huey Long "Share our Wealth" plan. Huey wanted to exempt the first million dollars of income from any taxation. That would be about 12 million today. So you know whose ill begotten gains he was coming after- the absolute top of the One Percent. Especially since LBJ's "Great Society" years, the "redistribution" has been from the middle class to the elite. The goal is to squeeze out the middle class altogether. Huey's plan would have empowered and greatly expanded the middle class.

Sounds more like the 'Keep your hands off our wealth' plan, which would be a good start!

I should have mentioned FEMA in this article. I think this qualifies as an emergency, but as always, FEMA isn't there to help. They were worthless during Katrina, and were conspicuous by their absence during the nearly three years of this COVID "emergency." Whatever their budget is, it is 100% waste. And they are refusing to help Palestine, Ohio: https://twitter.com/Jereme45/status/1626254731537485826

They don't just want to lower our standard of living and lecture us, the scumbags want to kill us. A blind man can see it. The U.S. train system is stuck technologically in the mid 1960s. Not only is there a major problem with the quality and health of commercial airline pilots, but the airlines are out sourcing the mechanical work on the planes to barely qualified and often incompetent 3rd world mechanics. You couldn't get me on a plane at gunpoint. Most of the other declining nations of the West at least have their telephone pole wires under ground so they are impervious to high winds and storms. Not here of course. Aside from the cell phone technology, which was obviously rolled out to hypnotize and zombify the masses, in most ways the U.S. hasn't progressed technologically since the early 20th century. This is quite deliberate as the means and methodologies to liberate us from oppression and poverty are kept under strict lock and key by the ruling class. The fat lady has sung and the curtain has fallen. Scumerica is the toast it has long been earmarked for. Thanks for another barnburner, Don.

Critical Update: @ approximately 7:47 p.m. I witnessed a woman walking into Culver's in full-blown pajamas with a new-born carried upside-down. This occurred nearly a football field from Walmart. I have no further information at this time.

Hi Don. I hope all is well. I heard you (audio only as I had turned off my screen) on The David Knight Show this Friday. Excellent dialog. I see what you mean about your internet connection. Something doesn't sound right. It shouldn't sound like you're fading in & out as well as sound tinny. Do you agree? Or do you think the most recent visit by your cable company solved your issue?

I seem to have a more stable connection now, since their last visit, but I listened to some of my interview with David, and see what you mean. I wasn't satisfied with the sound quality on my end. I'm getting a new mic this week, so hopefully that will help. Thanks!

Excellent. If over time you need help, just ask David or Karen Knight for my eMail address (screenshot this and show them). Or you can DM me on Twitter where I am also: @NYCeyes

PS: It's helpful to start with diagramming your network (connected & wifi). Good luck with the new mic. 😊
