There are a couple small reservations near us in Southern Mn.
They each have huge gambling casinos and deals with the states they are in to
only allow such casinos on the reservations. To have such a monopoly means HUGE PROFITS.
They can afford to live anywhere in the world they want as rich as princes. What they don't do,
for some odd reason, is share their wealth with the poor tribes. I'm no expert on reservation life, but I've been on lots of them for work. I met really great people there too, but in the words of one health director who lost her marbles trying to help them with healthcare, "These people are sick!" She was plainly relieved to be moving out. I suppose the levels of abuse are off the charts. How do you turn that around when it is generational abuse?
